Celean screamed as she looked at Milo lying on the ground. She picked up his head, her body shaking, "Milo stay with me."
He smiled, "Not dragging out my name finally, are we?"
She cried and shook her head, "You're gonna be okay..."
His smile faded, "I love you Celean."
She buried her face in his neck, "Don't say that. Y-you're supposed to stay with me..."
She screamed more when no response was given.
I was stuck, staring into the nothingness that was filling throughout me. I thought I knew panic attacks, having gone through so many, but this was the epitome of needing to run away.
Levi held my face in his hands, "Baby, I need you to focus right now and run as fast as you can to my car. I'm going to help Milo."
The surrounding sound around me was drowning out again. There were only whistles and the sound of my beating heart. I prayed silently that I wouldn't faint, but a piece of me wanted to so I couldn't see the dangerous man in front of me.
Levi shrugged off his flannel and pressed it into Milo's side. His life was slipping away every second.
"I know you..." I whispered as I looked at the man behind him, hearing the sound of my heart fill through my ears. All else was silenced.
"Amora!" Levi yelled.
I stayed in place and suddenly heard a familiar chuckle.
Jeremy walked up to Milo, taking a knee. "You all were supposed to bail me out. All this success and I get nothing?"
Celean screamed and punched Jeremy in the face, but he showed no mercy and kicked her back into the wall of the building.
Levi clenched his fists and stood, but a different man pushed him back to the ground. What if this was it for all of us?
"I know you..." I whispered again.
The heavily tattooed man smirked and gripped my jaws tightly by one hand, making me look up at him, "Just like your daddy, aren't you?"
He was one of my father's friends from when he was still a part of the crips...the one who ended my sister's life...
How did he get set free?
"I told him what happens when he leaves," the man said, kicking my stomach. I fell back immediately, almost throwing up at the pain.
I coughed rapidly, starting to panic, and Levi charged at him.
A manager from the restaurant locked the doors and started to call the cops as male waitors tried to break up the fight.
More members from the gang walked to the scene and shot the waitors one by one, before aiming a gun at me.
Levi broke one of the man's arms and flipped him over his back, taking the pistol. I was surprised at his agility.
"Leave Amora!" he shouted.
"I can't!" I cried.
"Go before I spank you."
I blinked at his statement and saw him smile.
I stood and began to back away, "Levi...I love you..."
"I love you too, now go!"
I hurried over to Celean, and Jeremy grabbed me by the hair, stopping me. I kneed him in the crotch and Levi turned around, shooting him in the leg. He always had my back.
"Hurry!" Levi shouted.
Celean and I grabbed Milo and managed to hide between cars in the parking lot safely. Celean cried, looking at Milo's wide open eyes and stiffening body.
I turned over from the sight of his wound and puked as I wept. My throat hurt so much, and my heart hurt even more.
All those gunshots...
My mind was going crazy and dizzy. It became too unbearable to the point I couldn't feel anymore.
I fainted again.

"Miss Amora, do you read me?"
I blinked awake and saw a medic tending to me in the back of an ambulance.
I jolted up and panted, "W-where's Levi?"
"Calm down," the medic said, "Are you alright?"
I nodded and saw Celean curled up on a bench. Dark bags were forming underneath her eyes. All her makeup had been washed away by tears.
"Do you have a ride home?" The medic asked.
"L-Levi was my ride."
She looked a bit conflicted, "Um...miss."
She turned on the mini TV in the corner and I saw Levi being pressed against the hood of a cop car, getting handcuffed.
Breaking News: "Levi from Unseeing is currently being arrested for shooting down three men! Two have already been declared dead."
My eyes widened.
"One of which is Jeremy Sterling, a previous member from Unseeing. The other, a 5'8 man going by the name of Chaviston Daton. More info about him and the shoot out coming right after this break."
Celean sat up. Only emptiness lingered within her spirit.
What else could we both do other than watch the loves of our lives fall?

A week later, I walked into the hospital room and sat my purse down on an empty seat, quietly approaching Milo's bed.
He was reading in a chemistry book and Celean was sleeping against his side, wrapped around in his arm.
I smiled to myself as I sat a vase of flowers next to him and some homemade pasta.
"Smells good," he whispered, not looking at me.
I sat down in a chair next to him, "Feeling better?"
He closed his book, finally turning his attention to me, "I'm doing great actually. Might have to use a crutch for a couple of weeks. The real problem is..."
He eyed Celean and I giggled, "She just loves her Milooo."
"Always, always..." he sighed, "How's Levi? Have you visited him?"
I played with my fingers guiltily, "Not yet...I'm scared."
This whole time I was working on bailing him out, but I didn't know what to say to him at all. He must be worried.
Milo nodded, letting out a light hum. "Haven't had to hurt him once since he's been with you. He's a good man."
I laughed, "You still remember that threat?"
"Heck yeah. I'm starting to think Olive Garden is bad luck. Let's not go there again."
"Agreed," I said before standing up, "Well I'll be on my way."
"See you around, Amora."
"See ya."
I walked to the door, then stopped when I reached for the knob, "Milo...would you have done what he did?"
"What? Kill for love?"
I nodded shyly.
He looked over at Celean slobbing all over his shirt and held her closer. A smile grew on his face.
"Without hesitation."
