"Thanks Nana," Donghyuck waved to Jaemin when he got out of the car. He waved until Jaemin's car was out of sight.

Donghyuck sighed and placed his hands heavily into the pockets of his zip up.

"My life sucks-AH!" Donghyuck shrieked when he tripped on the one crack that plagued the parking lot.

He felt a painful twist in his ankle as he fell onto the concrete.

"Son of a bitch!" He yelled and grabbed at his ankle. His palms burning from having catch himself on the black top.

The muscle was swollen around the ankle bone. The skin on his hands were a bit torn up too. The skin on his knee was a little bloody and could be seen through his black knee hole skinny jeans.

"My day just has to suck huh," Donghyuck rolled his eyes and hissed when his ankle moved. He tucked his hand into his pocket and pulled out his phone.

It was dead.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" He yelled, not realizing that he was yelling in the middle of a quiet parking lot outside of two apartments buildings. People probably looking at him though their windows.

"This is great," Donghyuck leaned back with his hands over his face. The concrete feeling rough on his back but he knew he couldn't stand up. The pain was too much while sitting let alone standing and walking back home.

"First, I fail. Then Mark Lee. Then cupcakes and then Mark Lee and then this and-" Donghyuck almost had a heart attack when there was a loud honk near his ear.

"PLEASE DON'T RUN ME OVER!" Donghyuck screeched, his hands in the air as he saw headlights coming towards his laying figure.

The car came to a stop and the driver door opened.

"Hey are you alright?!"

That voice.

"...and now Mark Lee," Donghyuck whispered to himself with exasperation.

"Pardon?" Mark said in the most Canadian way he's ever heard. His voice sounding kinda hot but Donghyuck wouldn't comment on it.

"I..uh nothing," Donghyuck shook his head with a wave of his hand. "You can keep driving."

"Why are you laying on the ground?" Mark ignored the last part in favor of walking closer to Donghyuck. His brows furrowed a little bit, a confused frown on his face.

"Just y'know living the dream-MOTHERFUCKER!" Donghyuck clutched onto the ankle he accidentally twisted again, wincing in pain before his hand flew up to cover his mouth. "...I'm sorry...I didnt...I didn't mean to swear-"

"No, it's alright," Mark waved off but leaned down next to the brunette. "What happened? Did you fall?"

"Something like that," Donghyuci said, turning his face away.

Something like that? Really Donghyuck? Thats exactly what fucking happened.

Donghyuck flinched when he felt fingers encircle his ankle, the fingers jerked back a bit.

"Im sorry! I just wanted to take a look to make sure it wasn't broken or anything-" Mark began to ramble, trying to find an excuse to why he touched Donghyuck.

Donghyuck sighed and felt emotion sit heavily on his chest.

"Can I borrow your phone?" Donghyuck sighed, completely defeated. He has embarrassed himself 3 times in front of Mark. Only getting worse and worse each time. "My phone died and I need to get into my house. I just need to call my friend-"

"I can help you," Mark rushed to the job.

"W-what?" Donghyuck blubbered.

"I can help you get to your apartment," Mark rubbed the back of his neck. "It's no trouble, really."

"N-no I couldn't ask you to do that," Donghyuck shook his head back and forth, trying to cool off his heating up cheeks.

"No really! Think of it as me repaying you for the cupcake you gave me today," Mark smiled lightly at him, trying to convey how sincere he was.

"I- I dont think-" Donghyuck tried to deny again.

"I insist," Mark bowed his head to catch Donghyucks eyes.

"Ok.." Donghyucks voice was a hushed whisper. He felt intimidated under Marks insisting gaze

Mark smiled and Donghyuck hesitantly let Mark pull him onto his feet.

The pain in his ankle made him yelp and he threw an arm around Mark's neck, hoping the black haired boy would support his weight.

What he didnt expect was for Marks other arm to come around behind his knees and lift him up into his arms.

"Y-you d-dont n-need to c-carry me," Donghyuck's face was redder than ever before. He could see every detail of Marks face from here and he could smell the scent of Mark's cologne.

Mark just laughed before hiking him up higher. "It's better to keep the weight of your ankle."

Donghyuck just kept his eyes down to his chest. He couldnt look at Mark anymore.

It was unlike him really.

He had been looking at Mark everyday for a year through his apartment window.

Mark had never made him shy before.

But that was probably because he wasn't in the bubble he saw through the window every day.

They got into he apartment and Mark asked where he should put him down.

"Y-you can just put me...on the couch..." Donghyucks voice got quieter as Mark slowly guided him to lay on the couch.

"Here this should help," Mark gently took Donghyucks ankle, feeling bad when the younger flinched and propped it up on the arm rest.

Donghyuck felt fine but was confused when Mark stopped for a minute. His eyes not on Donghyuck or his ankle. His eyes were staring out Donghyucks window.

The blinds were never shut anyway.

"I can see my house," Mark said but it wasn't in amazement or curiosity. It was in a tone that Donghyuck couldn't recognize. Marks face wasn't surprised at all, it was a face Donghyuck couldn't describe.

Donghyuck decided to keep his mouth shut, not wanting to spill the fact that he had always known Mark was there.

"Make sure you keep me updated on your ankle," Mark stepped away from the couch and walked into the kitchen. He grabbed an ice pack before plaing it on the ankle.

"I'll leave my number on the table," Mark smiled at the younger. Donghyuck eyes wide as he tried to protest but Mark just shook him off. "Text or call me if you need anything."

Mark soon left afterwards.

Donghyuck let his eyes close as he leaned his head back on the arm rest.

His heart dropping a little that he couldnt look out the window because of his ankle.

But part of him didn't know whether he would be able to anymore.
