"This doesn't make any sense..." Donghyuck sighed for the seventh time and knocked his head back onto the couch from his spot on the floor, crunched in between the couch and the coffee table.
47.
54.
53.
51.
49.
He had gotten all those grades withing the past week and he didnt know what was going on. He had the same exact, IDENTICAL answers to Jaemin and Jaemin has all 90's.
Donghyuck pouted further as he just stared at all the red ink on his paper. She never even made marks on what he could've done wrong.
He let his cheek rest against the couch as he thought of the night before.
Mark carried him home.
After he panicked in the bakery for everyone to see.
He squeezed his eyes shut.
He would apologize to Ten later and he would apologize to Mark too...if the older would even want to see him again.
Who the hell would wanna deal with someone so troublesome?
Donghyuck jolted when there was a firm but soft knock on his door.
Donghyucks brows furrowed as he got up to open the door.
"Hello- oh!" Donghyuck jumped slightly when he saw a familiar black haired Canadian on the other side of the door.
Mark looked tired. Handsome but tired. One of his shoes was completely untied, looking ready to fall off and his shoulders seemed to sag in his hoodie. The hood was thrown sloppily over his head as he tried his best to smile at Donghyuck. Only to look a bit goofy with his smile and messy hair.
Cute.
Donghyuck thought as he stared before shaking his head to remove the thought.
"Hey! I'm sorry I'm late. I just kinda had a lot to do in the morning but I tried to finish as quick as I could but-" Mark stopped talking when Donghyuck let out a small confused noise.
"Late for what?" Donghyuck blinked a few times as Mark raised his brows in suprise.
"We were gonna hang out today," Mark stated without any emotion to it.
A pure fact.
"O-oh..." Donghyuck's grip on the doorknob got tighter. "Y'know..."
There was a moment of silence between them before Mark caught his eyes and nodded in encouragement.
"...you don't have to...if you dont want to...or if you're tired," Donghyucks voice slowly dropped to a sad whisper. "Especially after...everything yesterday."
Donghyuck felt guilt creep up in his chest once again as he realized that he never even properly thanked Mark for taking him home last night.
"No!" Mark rushed to say despite the small bags under his eyes. "I wanna hang out."
"Uh, OK just uhm come in I guess," Donghyuck opened his door to Mark and Mark slowly trudged in as Donghyuck closed the door behind him.
"I was just-" Donghyuck was cut off when he saw Mark sneakily glance him up and down. His eyes quickly snapping over each detail.
Flames.
Donghyucks face burst into literal flames when he realized what he was wearing.
A pair of black shorts that ended at his upper thighs, the snug material was comfortable but didn't look modest on the eyes. He had thrown on his old royal blue cropped sweater that he cut himself a couple of years ago. He didnt know whether to feel exposed or ratchet.
