Mark was out for blood.
He couldnt keep the snarl of his face from under his helmet.
He would kill Yuta for taking Donghyuck.
He has no right to touch Donghyuck after everything he put him through.
Mark took a shuddery breath as he stepped onto the ice.
He cared too much about Donghyuck to let him down.
To let him go.
Flashback
"I dont know why you don't just go over there and say hi to him," Jeno said as he threw an m&m up in the air, trying to catch it in his mouth.
"And I dont know why you don't just tell Na Jaemin you want him to suck your dick," Mark said back, rolling his eyes when Jeno started to choke in protest.
"At least I've talked to Jaemin! You haven't said a single word to him since he moved in a year ago!" Jeno pointed out Marks window.
"You still won't tell me his name," Mark huffed, drumming his pencil against his desk.
"You wanna know his name then go ask him," Jeno mocked before slumping down into the seat next to Mark.
"I dont even know how to talk to him," Mark shrugged.
"..." Jeno stayed silent before bumping his shoulder against Marks. "He works at the bakery in town."
"It doesn't matter," Mark tilted his head back to stare at his ceiling. "Even if I miraculously ran into him. It's not like anything would become of it."
"And why's that?" Jeno raised a brow. "Besides the fact your a panicked gay."
"You are too!" Mark glared back at him. "I saw you blush when Jaemin handed you the basketball you hit him in the head with. Your fingers only BRUSHED and you were combusting in the lockeroom."
"You can't even look out your window at him!" Jeno huffed, his cheeks going all puffy into a pout.
"You're right. I can't," Mark huffed as well, his cheeks matching Jeno's.
"Well I'm just saying that you're never gonna have a chance if you dont say hi to the damn guy," Jeno ran a frustrated hand through his hair. "I've never spoken to him either but from what Jaemin said, apparently he's a ray of sunshine."
Mark didnt say anything back, focused on watching the empty apartment across the window.
'A ray of sunshine, huh.'
Mark shook his head with a small smile.
End of Flashback
The whistle blew and Mark had gotten the puck as fast as he could. He was swerving played left and right.
Set up.
Swing.
Shoot.
Blocked.
"Dammit," Mark growled from within his helmet.
He could see Yuta's smug face through his helmet and it made him want to slam the end of the stick into his eye.
"It wont be that easy," Yuta chuckled as he skated past him.
Mark gripped his stick tighter.
He wasn't wrong.
But the same thing could be said to him.
Meanwhile
"Oh c'mon Donghyuck," Jaemin sighed, still on his tippy toes looking for the brunette.
He had called Donghyuck 5 times and the older still hadnt replied.
Jaemin had sat patiently in his seat for the first quarter of the game but he was skeptical when the brunette hadn't appeared.
Jaemin scanned around to see if people where watching him before pulling his phone out with a huff.
Ok.
So.
Maybe he did have a tracking device on his phone that he secretly downloaded onto his friends phones.
....
THEY ARE HIS BABIES OK?
....
Hmph.
Jaemin zoomed into the orange icon to find that his bestie was indeed in the building.
Then where the fudge is he?
Jaemin furrowed his brows before sighing and looking at the game.
A few minutes away wouldn't hurt.
