"C'mon just a bit further," Mark gently tugged on his hand again, trying to coax Donghyuck to pick up his pace.

"Give me a break," Donghyuck huffed out of breath. "Not everybody is a hockey player."

Mark laughed at that but still kept walking forward.

"I dont see why we can't drive the car up here," Donghyuck whined. "I swear to god I've seen more trees on this path than my whole years of life."

"You'll love it," Mark smiled back at him. "Promise."

Donghyuck sighed but let himself be dragged through a path in the woods.

Mark had drove for a while but it was already sunset by the time they got to an empty gravel parking lot.

The next thing he knew Mark was dragging him up a path into the woods and they've been walking for a good half hour.

It was already dark.

Donghyuck heard a stick snap and was on immediate alert, squeezing Marks hand as he looked around.

"Just me," Mark squeezed back before pulling Donghyuck infront of him.

"What are you-" Donghyuck was cut off when Marks hands covered his eyes.

"We're almost there," Mark's breath sent tingles down his back from where he could feel it behind his ear. "Let me guide you and I'll tell you when to look."

Mark slowly guided Donghyuck forward. His chest bumping into Donghyuck back every couple of seconds. His heart rate a lot calmer than Donghyucks currently was.

"Alright," Mark stopped him but didn't take his hands away. "Real quick. Do you want to make things easy or do you want to make them fun?"

"What?" Donghyuck furrowed his brows.

"Just answer the question," Mark's impatient ass complained a bit.

"Fun...I guess," Donghyuck shrugged and Mark's hands came off of his eyes.

Donghyuck's eyes widened at the sight in front of him. "No. Absolutely fucking not."

There was a large tree suspended between two cliffs, connecting them together like a bridge.

But the valley underneath it was deep and you would definitely die on impact.

"Aww c'mon," Mark smiled. "You gotta cross anyway in order to get to the surprise."

"Are you insane?" Donghyuck turned around and poked a finger in his chest. "I am NOT dying tonight."

"Look," Mark turned him around by the shoulder and pointed to the small hill on the other side. "The surprise is just over that hill."

"Mark-"

"Last one over there has to pay for one of the surprises," Mark challenged and walked closer to the tree. "I'll even let you go first."

Donghyuck swallowed as he looked at Mark. The older boys eyes shining with mischief but a sweet smile placed on his face nonetheless.

"If I die then you better get arrested," Donghyuck walked over to the tree and placed one foot on it.

"You aren't gonna die," Mark laughed and stood behind him.

Donghyuck put his other foot on and tried to keep his eyes off the fricken ravine below.

"That's it," Mark soft voice was right behind him. "Take it slow. Put one foot in front of the other."

Donghyuck slowly swung his other foot in front and kept his arms straight out to keep balance.
