"He makes me wanna die~" Donghyuck whined and leaned a bit too far into Renjuns side, both of them almost sliding of the park bench.

"Then go do it and don't drag me with you," Renjun groaned and pushed Donghyuck off him. "Why did we come out here anyway because if it's to talk about Mark then I wanna go home."

Usually nobody would care about sitting on a park bench in front of a small pond.

But it was windy and cold and looked like it was going to rain in 10 minutes. The wind was harsh against their faces but Donghyuck still dragged him out, claiming that he wanted to see the ducks. 

What fricken ducks?

Renjun thought with a bitter shudder as he stared at the calm, empty and cold pond.

Donghyuck shrugged next to him, his eyes locked on his shoe laces and his hands stuffed into the pockets of his zip up hoodie.

"Ok..." Renjun said skeptically, sensing something off about the younger. "...what happened at work the other day...y'know with the pill."

Donghyuck seemed to tense up next to him and he was immediately concerned when Donghyuck just deflated.

"I dont know," Donghyuck shrugged again, stubborn as always.

"Did you call the police?" Renjun cut in quickly, the idea of his friend getting kidnapped or something made him feel a bit sick.

Donghyuck just shook his head before his voice was lower than ever before. "..no.."

Renjun's patience cracked a little bit as he grabbed onto Donghyucks shoulder to push him to face him. "Why the hell not?! They tried to drug you. They could've drugged you and then killed you. I dont even know how you knew there was something-"

Renjun cut himself off when a curious thought entered his head.

His head tilted.

"...how did you know there was a pill in there?"

Donghyuck tensed almost violently at the question.

His head forcing the bits and pieces though his mind.

Flashback

"You like chocolates right my love?" Yuta's voice was sickening in his right ear.

Donghyuck couldn't move, paralyzed with all the strange feelings coursing through his veins.

"Have another one," Yuta's nail was dragging up the length of his spine before there was something placed in his mouth.

He didnt even feel it.

Yuta forced him to chew and swallow against his own will.

"You'll love it," Yuta pet his hair, brushing back the brown strands from his sweaty forehead.

Donghyuck couldn't even speak, couldn't protest against the cool metal being placed on the skin of his wrist.

He tried to scream.

His body wouldn't let him.

End of flashback

"Hyuck?" Renjun shook his shoulder again and Donghyuck snapped out of it with teary eyes.

"...im sorry..." Donghyuck wasn't even talking to Renjun at that point. "I-i tried to-"

"Hyuckie?" Renjun called again a bit more loudly, urgently as Donghyuck began to stand up with his hands shoved into his hair.

Renjun could only watch with wide eyes as Donghyuck began to stumble over his untied laces, his jeans getting caked in mud as he tripped onto his knees in the grass.

"Donghyuck!" Renjun ran over to squat infront of Donghyuck and grabbed onto his shoulders and shook him a bit. "What is going on?"

Something cracked in Donghyuck and he was ripping his shoulders away from Renjuns hands. "Don't touch me. I tried so hard. Please don't touch me."

Renjun was confused and worried as Donghyuck just repeated those words, Donghyucks own eyes panicked and scared.

"I wanna go home," Donghyuck finally said as he tried to stand up but his foot caught on his laces and he was tripping backwards.

Renjun was quick to his feet and tried to catch Donghyucsk hand but it was too late as Donghyuck plummeted into the deep and cold water behind him.

"HYUCK!" Renjun yelled like a mad man but couldn't get in the water.

Donghyuck and Renjun have done alot together and one of those things was never taking swimming lessons.

Donghyuck panicked when cold, deathly freezing water surrounded his body and forced its way into his lungs.

The sad part was...

It wouldn't be the first time.

Flashback

"Don't spew that more fish in the sea crap to me," Yuta hissed at him, pushing his back forward with his fist. "If you wanna see some other fish then let's fucking see how you like it."

Donghyuck gasped before he was being shoved and submerged in water.

The blindfold over his eyes making it worse as he couldnt see.

He couldnt swim.

His hands were tied so he couldn't even try.

He felt a burning sensation in his lungs but he wanted nothing more than to die when something bit his ankle.

The harsh teeth of whatever it was made him try to scream in the water.

It just made the water rush in faster.

He was yanked out of the water afterwards, lungs burning, ankle aching and mind destroyed.

"This is only the beginning doll face," Yuta mumbled to him quietly before Donghyuck was pushed back into the water.

He had 6 more rounds to go.

Flashback over

Donghyuck began kicking and swinging his limbs like he wanted to do back then but it wasn't working.

He was just getting more and more tired.

Donghyuck could hear Renjuns screams from under the water and he tried to reach his arm up but it wasn't moving.

The below freezing water r paralyzing his muscles.

Fuck. I never even got to cash in that free cupcake from Ten yet.

Donghyuck thought as his eyes started to slip shut.

The last thing he felt was something cup and pull on the back of his head before his consciousness completely slipped away.
