"You are so stupid," Donghyuck knocked his palm into his forehead, dragging it down his face in exasperation.

He unlocked his door and immediately dumped his food on the kitchen table.

He told Mark he was in love with him.

Donghyuck wanted to bang his head hard against the wall until he forgets everything.

He sat down at the table and let his hand rest on his arms, trying to breathe calmly and relax in the silence of his apartment.

Until his phone rang.

He groaned and picked up his phone, the Mom😈 contact making a bright appearance.

"Hi Momma," Donghyuck accidentally let his pouty sigh say.

"Mmm what's wrong with my hyuckie?" His mom answered with a pout that matched his own. He could imagine her little amused smile but the divot between her brows in worry.

"Mom?" Donghyuck let himself lean back in the chair to stair up at the ceiling in thought. "Do you think...do you think everyone has a soulmate?"

He heard his mom take a slow inhale of breath before her voice turned soft.

"I do," His mom hummed in agreement. "I think even if its not a lover, everyone has their own little soulmate."

"What if they don't feel that feeling too?" Donghyuck opened his gallery to a photo that Mark insisted they take.

A cute little photo.

Mark saying his mad face was 'too cute not to keep.'

Donghyuck ended up pointing out the way their nose scrunched almost looked the same.

"They will baby," His mother hummed again, he could hear the clacking of her kitchen utensils in the background. "You'll both feel it. If you dont then they aren't your soulmate."

"Momma...im sure I found them...but they don't..." Donghyuck tried to piece together his words, not trying to have his voice break infront of his mother.  "I don't think they feel the same way."

"Are you sure?" He heard his mother put her utensil down. "Have they told you that?"

"No-" Donghyuck tugged on his sleeves.

"Then you dont know how they feel," His mother reasoned with him. "They may have their reasons for not being ready to say how they feel."

"But he's literally perfect! He shouldn't have any reasons not to other than that I'm not-" Donghyuck was cut off by his mothers firm tone.

"Lee Donghyuck," She scolded him. "I did not raise you to say things like that. You know that nobody's perfect-"

"But he is Momma!-" Donghyuck whined.
