"Elena?"
Elena wasn't surprised at the fact that Nora sounded lost, and confused. If anything, they were in the same boat.
"Yeah, It's me. I know that you've probably forgotten that I've existed after all this time, but I really need to talk to you. It's important."
Nora removed the phone from her ear, and looked back at Klaus who was still sleeping on clouds.
"Sure.." Nora trailed off, as she used her vamp speed instead of regularly walking into the dining room, so she wouldn't wake Klaus up.
She lingered at the head of the neatly set table, and leaned her arms on the back of one of the chairs; intrigued.
What could Elena possibly want to talk about?
She hasn't seen her since, well the ball that they hosted, and things have far changed since then.
"What's up?" She resumed.
"Look, I know that you probably have the world and then some to deal with in New Orleans-"
"Oh, you wouldn't know the half of it." Nora cut her off with a scoff, as her eyes rolled around the room in disbelief at what they've been through, honestly. And she heard Elena sigh through the other end of the line.
"The thing is, stuff is getting pretty bad over here too."
"What about Stefan, or Damon?" Nora has known of the Salvatore brothers existence, long before she knew of hers.
"That's the problem..Stefan has his humanity off, and Damon...Damon is dying."
Nora furrowed her eyebrows harshly, as she listened to her struggle to get that last phrase of her sentence out.
"Oh my.." She whispered, leaning up from the back of the chair. "Uhm, yeah wow. I-is there anything that I can do to help?"
"That's why I called..he's dying from a werewolf bite. I know that Klaus's blood is the cure, but he doesn't exactly have a good reputation down here. So I was hoping that you could come to Mystic Falls."
Nora knows about how Klaus had to break his Hybrid curse in Virginia, and that he probably reeked havoc during his mission but he never really told her the specifics.
"Of course, I'll be down there by dawn." She said, remembering how long it takes for werewolf toxin to finish off a vampire.
"Nora, thankyou, really."
She nodded her head a single time, even though Elena couldn't see her.
"Bye."
Upon Nora ending the call, hell broke loose. For both parties.
"You will be doing no such thing."
Klaus said, standing in the door way like a serial killer. It sent shivers down her spine, as she fumbled the phone in her hands.
"What the hell are you thinking!" Caroline scolded her with pure judgement, but she didn't give Elena time to explain.
"You just invited Klaus back to Mystic Falls!"
"Not Klaus, Nora okay? You can calm down."
"What? Nora the psychotic tribrid, I've read about her."
"Please, you used to be obsessed with her.."
Elena remembers their encounter from the Ball. Caroline basically fan-girled over her.
