|nora's pov|
My eyes fluttered awake in confusion, as the sound of birds chirping must've been the thing to wake me up.
That's the only bad thing about the compound, it doesn't really have a door.
I turned my head, looking at Klaus as he rested under me with a slight snore leaving his mouth in a deep sleep.
I smoothed my hand over his soft curls, landing a light kiss on his cheek, and I stood up slowly careful not to wake him.
He needs the rest.
Looking outside, the sky was nothing but a deep blue, but it grew lighter as the minutes passed. We must've feel asleep on the couch till dawn.
I walked up half the stairs, looking back at him one more time with a slight smile before speeding off up the rest of the way eager to get a new change of clothes.
I briskly walked down the hall, but as I got further the sound of a heartbeat caused me to slow down.
The doors to Klaus' office were wide open. I slowly stepped into the door way and my eyebrows furrowed when I saw Freya.
She stood on top of a pink yoga mat, as her body stretched and contortioned into ballerina like positions.
I don't think she heard me coming, because she kept doing her yoga. I almost didn't want to bother her, because she looked so zen.
However, I knocked on the door taking a step in.
"Hey."
She looked a little startled, but smiled when she saw it was me.
"Hey, Nora. What's up?"
"I was just going to change." I said, pulling at my dress. "But I saw you in here, and wanted to check up on you. How are you feeling?"
I've never brought somebody back from the other side before. I wanted to make sure that there weren't any mystical side-effects or anything.
"I feel much better now, relaxed." She nodded her head. "And I'm still a witch, so."
I scoffed, nodding my head at her and turning to leave but she caught me.
"Nora, how did you know?"
I turned back around on my heel, and tilted my head at her.
"About?"
"Me not wanting to me a vampire." She stepped off of her mat. "I mean, our whole family consists of vampires, even you. How could you tell that I didn't want to be one?"
Freya shows no malice towards any vampires, honestly it was hard for me to tell that she didn't want to be one considering how much she defends them.
"Honestly, I kinda felt it." I furrowed my eyebrows thinking about how stupid it sounded.
"You've been apart of this family longer than I have, If you wanted to be a vampire like the rest of us I figured you would've turned by now. That's what makes you unique from the rest of us."
I am a witch too, but unlike me she is purebred.
She is the last descendant from the Original witch. Something in me told me that saving her, was the right thing to do. What she wanted.
"Well, your instincts were correct." She smiled. "So, thankyou."
I smiled at her with blissful eyes, before taking off down the hall.
If we were to get into a conversation all about love, and thankyou's we would be here till the afternoon and while I did just wake up I am still tired.
Walking into Klaus and I's bedroom, I slipped the light switch on as it was right by the door frame.
I blinked, my eyes adjusting to the bright lights. I slowly walked over to my closet, slipping my vans off and throwing my jean jacket onto the neatly folded racks of freshly washed clothes.
Klaus must've told Sarah to clean while we were all gone.
I reached into the third drawer of my dresser, and pulled out a pair of plaid black and red pajama pants, and slipped my dress off.
I stood there, thinking of what shirt I wanted to put on when my eyes focused in on Klaus's nightstand across the room.
All of his appliances in the room were a a sleek black, while mine were polished over expresso wood so we could tell the difference.
I crept over to his side, and opened the top first drawer where all of his shirts lay.
I grabbed a short-sleeved black one, and slid it on with a smile of comfort.
I couldn't help but to look at myself in his big mirror, and my hands gravitated towards to necklace he gave me. Like each individual diamond called out to me, precious.
I couldn't take my eyes off of it.
Thinking about the man who gave me it..I walked out of the room, cutting off the light switch as I shut the door behind me.
I followed my route down the hall, until I reached the banister overlooking the foyer.
And there was Klaus, still asleep almost in the same exact position that I left him in.
I crept down the stairs, but I jumped as I heard my phone ring.
The loud ringing echoed off of the walls, and I was scared that It would wake Klaus up.
Concentrating on the device, I quickly muted it with my magic before flashing over to the mini bar where I left it.
I half expected it to be Keelin, Rebekah, or Jackson but my fingers hesitated to press the green button as I read the name.
"H-Hello? Nora Its me, it's-"
I listened to them, as I put the phone up to my ear.
"Elena?"
