"So he kissed you, like your lips touched." I bit the corner of my lip.
"Yeah, it was only for a second though." I raised my eyebrows, as I huffed into the speaker.
"Well, what the bloody hell did you do next?"
"What do you think Rebekah? I pushed him off, and told him that I'm in love with his brother." I adjusted the phone in my hand, as I picked up the little shot glass in front of me on the counter and threw it back. I clicked my tongue to get rid of the strong taste of the tequila. "It'll always be him."
She scoffed into her end of the phone, and then I started to hear the sound of her shuffling around. "The tale of the girl getting between two brothers lives on." I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What do you mean?" I covered up the speaker with my opposite hand, as I leaved over the counter and ordered another shot. I knew I would need it. How I wish I could trade places with Rebekah, who is relaxing in the compound right now.
"Tatia, Katerina. Though they were a problem far too many years ago, my brothers both had a love interest in them. And they both picked Elijah.." I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, and took the other shot shaking my head.
"Well I don't have some doppelgänger legacy behind me, I'm just Nora. Not Tatia, or Katerina, or Sabrina,
or Catrina." I sighed."No, you are The Nora Parker." I heard her smirk at me through the phone. "So, what did Klaus do when you told him?"
"I didn't..I guess he saw the whole thing. He daggered him."
"Ouu, you know it's serious when he pulls out the daggers- Wait I saw Elijah leave this morning, before Klaus did." My eyes squinted when I heard she said Klaus had left.
"I couldn't just leave him daggered, Beks. I don't know if you realized, but we kinda have a boss battle coming up." I said sarcastically, and she chuckled.
"God, we have got to get out and have some fun. Just let loose, I haven't done that in a while." I blew air out of my nose, thinking of the thought.
"In my dreams. Where did Elijah go anyways?"
"To try and make a bargain with the witches." I laughed, out loud. I quieted down, when people gave me dirty looks from around.
"He'll have better luck becoming a witch, than convincing one of them. Did Klaus tell you where he was going?"
"Something about the Wolves." I could hear the pages of a magazine flipping in the background, and I licked my lips.
"The wolves?- I'll call you later." I removed the phone from my ear, and pressed the red button before sliding it into my back pocket.
I had a motive, when I left the compound today. A plan. But Klaus being in the Bayou threw things off. I called over the bar tender, and she smiled when she stopped in front of me.
"Have you seen auburn, red head girl come in today, about my height, bright green eyes." I made direct eye-contact looking into her pupils. "Be honest." She blinked, answering me.
"Yeah, she was here earlier." I smiled, and grabbed my jacket. Klaus was never in the Bayou, and him being there felt off. Especially with the rabid thoughts he probably has circling around in that hard head of his. After the dramatics with Elijah, he didn't even talk to me.
As I stood on the border of the woods, I pulled out my phone again, and I clicked on Freya's contact. She picked up on the second ring.
"Hello?"
