"Look, all we need is some of your venom, and then you'll be free to go." How Freya missed that accented voice. It took Rebekah all but a day to track down the mystery wolf, and be back in New Orleans. They took no breaks, and got straight to business.
The girl didn't have time to protest, as Freya put the mask over her face, and they left the room. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was an I miss you silence. After a year and a half, Freya didn't look like she aged a day.
When Rebekah walked into the compound it was a wave of nostalgia. The last place where her big family once lived, she missed the old compound, the look, the smell, the people it was inhabited by.
"Thankyou, for tracking her down."
"No, I owed you for leaving, and for giving up. I'm sorry I left you here all by yourself-" Freya shook her head, cutting her off.
"It's okay, even I gave up at one point Rebekah. What matters is that your here, and we can wake them soon." Rebekah pulled her in for a hug, and let herself go when she felt the warmth.
"She's worse than ever, Freya. She might even be worse than Klaus himself." She whisper gasped. Freya gave her body a tight squeeze, before pulled her away from her body, and her face was as white as a ghost.
"If we can bring them back from the dead, then we can save her from herself." She reassured. Freya of course missed Nora, she had become a part of the family so fast, immediately sacrificing her safety for them, and putting her personal life on hold. But they just had this sisterly connection, one that she's never felt before. "I promise."
Rebekah nodded her head, sniffling up her tears, and taking a deep breath.
"And now we wait."
