The ride on the plane was amazing.

With every glass of champagne that was handed my way, my thoughts of what happened at the compound drifted away.

Everything, but Tyler.

When the plane had landed, me and Rebekah transferred our bags to my car that was waiting for us at the station already.

Kol just came empty handed, besides the phone and earbuds the he carried in his pocket.

I drove, with Kol in the passenger and Rebekah in the back. It took about forty minutes to get from the airport to town but I knew that we made it when I saw the sign to my right.

'Welcome to Mystic Falls Virginia.'

I made the turn into the town, and heard Kol sigh next to me.

"We're back, feels like we just left yesterday. Doesn't it Beks?" He asked turning to face her.

"Not a chance in hell, though I do remember it like it were yesterday."

She said, and Kol hit my arm with his elbow.

"If you think New Orleans is home for all things that go bump in the night, you're in for a rude awakening darling."

I looked him up and down.

I wasn't nervous, but yeah nervous.

So instead, I laid the bad news down on them first.

"Look, you guys have been here before and I don't want to make the wrong first impression showing up on their door step with not one but two Originals."

"Oh, who gives a bloody care." Rebekah said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms in the back.

"I do!" I said, taking my hand off of the wheel for a brief moment, which must've been a moment too long.

The car swerved into the other lane just as another car came by, and I yanked the wheel back quickly. Even though a car wreck wouldn't really kill any of us, it still made me jumpy.

"Just kill us all, why don't you." She sighed, sitting up in her seat while Kol only had a smile. Knowing him, he probably enjoyed the adrenalin rush.

Still, they couldn't blame me. Neither of them wanted to drive, and I've never gotten my license, or even my permit to think about it. I didn't need to.

"Elena asked me to come here, I never said anything about you." I said, making eye contact with her in the rear view mirror.

"Let alone you." I said, looking at Kol next to me.

"So, tell me a place that I can drop you off at so I can save Damon and then we can be on our merry way home." I smiled, and Kol gave in.

"Fine. Drop us off at the grill, I could go for a bite to eat."

"The what?" I asked, turning my head towards him.

"The Grill, it's the hang out spot here. Not that there's much of a choice."

"It's right there." Rebekah said, leaning up in her seat and I squinted my eyes pulling up to the curb.

'The Mystic Grill.' I whispered to myself. "Rad."

He opened the butterfly wing doors to his side of the car, and I got up so I could let Rebekah out of the back.

"Try to keep the kill-count to a three people maximum, please?"
