|nora's pov|
A week later..
I punched, and I kicked the dummy that was directly in front of me.
I guess ever since Aroura turned up at our doorstep, I've been more alert so to speak. Especially since she just came to talk to me, and then left. Nobody has seen or heard from her since. Of course I already knew who she was; Klaus's first one true love of Rebekah's sire-line. The thought that they might've lasted all of these years if Elijah had never compelled her has been popping up in the back of my head since I saw her face, but I try not to think about it.
Then again the mind, has a mind of it's own.
I already have a lot on my plate, and don't have any room to fit the De'martel's.
"What are you doing here?" I saw Klaus standing in the door frame off to my right, but I kept my head forward as I delivered a punch.
"I live here." This was the first time that he's come in an interrupted me, and I hope that it's for a good reason.
"No, I mean what are you doing, in here." My eyes looked around the room for a little, before I went back to what I was doing. I was upstairs, in the artifact room. I don't know what it's called, really, but it held shelves of books, and other mystical items. I could tell, because I could feel my siphon power wanting to draw from them. Nevertheless it was unoccupied.
"Well, your ex is back in town."
"Nora-"
"She obviously wants to get back at me." I punched the dummy right in the rib. "And she has a solid eight hundred years on me." I sent a sharp kick, and the dummy broke in half. I rolled my eyes in defeat, and rested my hands on my hips.
"You have been at this for days, If Aroura even thinks about laying a finger on you I will-"
"You're going to do what, huh?" I whipped around to face him. He's not going to be there all the time, he can't it's impossible. He sighed at me, and I furrowed my eyebrows when he threw me my shoes.
"Let's go."
"Where are we going."
"I'm going to show you that you're a lot stronger than you think you are."

Memories played in my head when we walked into the gym. They renovated St. Anne's to be a new vampire gym, moving the Church to be St. Louis Cathedral. I remembered when I trained here with Rebekah, but it turned into PTSD when flashbacks of the witches trying to capture us came to mind.
"This is your plan?" He didn't respond to me, he only took off his jacket, and opened the door to the cage, holding it open for me. I walked up to him, and tilted my head. "You want me to fight you." I laughed. "Klaus you can beat me in your sleep-"
"Why not, you're a hybrid just like me, love." I squinted.
"I think your forgetting the centuries you've lived, and I haven't."
"Enough with the excuses, get in the ring." He nodded his head over to the open door, and I slowly peeled my jacket off, before stepping in, him following in after me. I watched his back turn to me as he closed the door behind him, and I sighed. I wasn't really in the best clothes for this, with my jeans and boots but I guess your never really ready when you get into a real life fight anyways. He walked over to the other end, and looked down on me as I stood in the same spot. I wasn't nervous, but I didn't really feel like getting my ass kicked.
"If you don't make the first move, I will." The look on his face was taunting, so I decided to take his advice, and be a little more serious. I sped up to him, but before I could even make a move he grabbed me by my neck and pulled me closer to him.
"You're too slow." He extended his arm, and threw my body back into the cage. I got up as fast as I could, and tried to sneak up behind him but he easily stopped me with his forearm. I felt myself go airborne, as he threw me back onto the floor with the twist of his arm. I groaned, not in pain but in realization.
"You know, If this is just going to be you throwing me around all evening, we can go back home." I added standing up, and he smiled at me.
"You know I love you like crazy, and I know that I can't hurt you. I'm trying to get you to let go." Let go..I can remember the last time that happened.
This time he sped up to me, but I was able to react fast this time. I used my arm, and blocked him, throwing him into the ground as he did me.
"See now that's more like it." I couldn't stop my smile, the feeling of him being proud of me was one of the best. I was caught in the moment, when I blinked I felt my body smash against the caging. "Always be ready." He took a few steps back to the other side of the cage. "Again."
I sped up to him, but I froze when he blocked my punch with an iron grip. I tried to use my feet to kick him, but he only launched me across the other end of the cage, and I fell on the floor when I bounced off the cage. I sighed from the floor, and I looked up at him, as he stood over me. I shook my head back and forth on the ground.
"You don't know how bad I want to light you on fire right now." I starred at his face, hard when he chuckled at me, and held his hand out for me to take.
"Come here." He pulled me to stand up, and I wiped my hands on my pants. He turned me around so my back was to his front. "Close your eyes." I blinked before doing so, and I everything felt more amplified for some reason.
"Take a deep breath, and tell me what you hear." On my exhale, I felt his hand brush against mine. As a vampire everything was heightened, and that feeling never went away no matter how old you were. I felt like I could hear everything. Every creaking sound, even the people miles away from us outside. But I could hear him the most.
"You...I can hear your breath, I can hear everything."
"Now what do you feel.." His voice was soft, and soothing. I felt like I was melting into his skin.
"Everything, I can feel everything." My voice matched his whisper naturally.
"Mm-hm, now I want you to keep your eyes closed, and keep feeling everything, all the parts of you." His right hand rested on top of mine, while my other arm stayed at my side. When I focused in, it felt as if he were touching every single nerve. "Tap into every side, channel your energy, your power. You are strong, and precious." I didn't even feel like fighting anymore, but when he walked away I knew this wasn't over.
"One last time, I promise. Beating you over and over, I'm getting quite tired myself." He slightly raised his eyebrows while he looked at me smug, and I crossed my arms.
"Playing dirty now are we, fine."
I charged for him, but he must've been thinking like me. He threw me into the cage, and I saw him run at me but I was able to rebound fast enough.
"Egayus." I held my flat hand up, and his body smacked up against the cage. I sped up to him, and he tried to best me, but I grabbed his arm and flipped him around. I didn't know what to do. I had won, but what was next.
"You can't hesitate, you have to follow through with the kill." I looked into his eyes as I thought about it, and my hand plunged straight into his chest. I didn't know what emotions read in his eyes, they only widened and so did mine. He made a gasping sound when my hand discovered his heart. My breath was heavy, and when he adjusted I looked down at his chest. .
"You're thinking around ripping it out, go ahead. It'll grow back." I quickly took my hand out, leaving his heart in tact.
"Why would I need to rip your heart out, if it's already mine?"
