Despite the trust that was dwindling between the Salvatores and the Mikaelsons, accommodations still had to be made.
Nora politely asked Rebekah to stay behind at Damon's house while she went off to talk to Tyler, to which she agreed. It gave Rebekah a chance to keep an eye out to make sure no back-ally activity was going on while she waited for her brother to arrive.
Nora didn't expect to pull up to a shack, but must less a mansion.
Picking up her phone, she double checked the GPS making sure that she had gotten the correct address from Damon.
2129 East Street.
She got out of the car slowly, her eyes scanning the yard as she walked in-between the big white pillars that supported the foundation.
Raising her hand, she knocked twice softly on the white door.
She could hear heavy footsteps nearing, before the door was swung open.
Looking at the man, Nora could sense that he was agitated.
"Whatever your selling, I'm not buying." His dark brown eyes looked into hers for a moment as he went to shut the door, but she stuck her arm in harshly reopening the door.
Immediately, he was appalled by her strength.
"I didn't come to bargain; I came here to talk."
Squinting his eyes, Tyler straightened his back out.
"Well, I don't talk to strangers."
"I'm Nora Parker, and trust that you are no stranger to me."
It was as if as soon as she said her name, it set a switch off in his brain causing his demeanor to change.
Tyler looked at her in shock, freezing.
"...And you should be Tyler Lockwood?" She filled the silence, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Y-yeah, yeah I'm Tyler. Aren't you Klaus's wife?"
He didn't really have to ask, because he already knew.
She furrowed her eyebrows at his question. Everyone always just assumed that she was his wife.
Nora assumed that the girlfriend title wasn't a thing anymore.
"Something like that, yeah."
"Considering your husband murdered my mother, I'd say I'm good on the chit chat."
He attempted to slam the door again, but she stopped him with her hand pushing against him once more.
"Tyler please." She pleaded. "I came to talk, and I alone. Just hear me out."
He pursed his lips and sighed, stepping to the side letting her in.
He took the time that she was distracted by the interior of his mansion, to sneak out his phone.
Sending a text to no other than Kai.
'I thought you killed Klaus's girl?'
"Nice house."
Tyler quickly slipped his phone back in his pocket, turning towards her.
"Thanks, my family inherited it to me."
Sighing, Nora's eyes adverted towards the floor.
"Tyler, I know what Klaus did to your mom. I didn't know until just before I got here, and I am so sorry."
