16. Mono

Six stared me dead in the eyes.

She looked like she was on the brink of panic.

I was a little nervous and also confused on why she was acting so shocked.

"Well I.. I just have this gut feeling that they're relationship could be a bit unstable. If you understand what I am getting at. Also I have some evidence to prove back up what I'm saying."

I went on.

"I mean.. shit I-.. I don't know I've never really asked or thought to ask what they're relationship is like. Pretty much never. He's never really talked about it. I guess I just thought it was normal, but again Seven doesn't say much."

Ah, so that's why she's acting the way she is.

I already knew that Seven was gonna be the type to be kept to himself.

He's a classic Introvert.

I'm sure admitting to being abused my your own mom isn't easy, but yet I'm not even entirely sure that's what is really happening.

Although.. I'm still confused about the situation.

How does Six not know anything related to this?

I mean, them two have been best friends ever since they we're just Infants right?

Surely six must know, or at least maybe have an Idea.

How could've she just gone all this time without even knowing?

But then again I could be completed false. Maybe I'm just over-analyzing, but I highly doubt that I am.

Also Seven's mom could be really good at hiding the truth, and covering up her actions with even more lies,

but the scariest part of it all..

Seven could be going along with it.

"Do you seriously have no idea. Or even thought to ask? Literally nothing?"

I asked while getting a little annoyed.

"Yes. I seriously don't know. The only thing I can think of related to anything is that she's an alcoholic, and a smoker. I don't think that has anything to do with it though. "

She was right. Drinking or smoking doesn't have really anything to do with it.

But it still plays a role nonetheless, and I can use that against Seven's mom.

"You're right, but it still plays a role, and important one. Well besides that, I feel like we should both try and figure out what the hell is happening. Because I know Seven Isn't gonna tell us, and so we should find out ourselves."

I said firmly while standing up and started to slowly pace.

"Well, I guess I'm in. I never really thought to do anything about it so.. If you feel so strongly about it then I'll go along with whatever plan you have. "

She said while leaning against the open window. She looked over at Seven's house with a sad, almost pained look on her face.

"Well, I want to start a proper Investigation, but it's gonna be risky. Really. Risky."

I said.

"What do you have In mind then. "

She asked.

I walked next to her and looked outside with her.

We both stood there for a few minutes looking at the house before us.

"We're gonna search his house."

She looked at me and gave me a look of disbelief.

"For real?"

She asked.

"Yes for real." I responded.

"I can guarantee you, we will find something in there that will change your view. I can tell your skeptical. "

I said while looking at her.

My eyes we're wide and serious.

I wasn't fucking around here.

I'm willing to do everything and anything.

"Okay..Jesus."

Six sighed. I could tell she was nervous.

This is probably a lot for her to even take in right now.

"Will you help me?"

I asked.

She looked over at me again, then back to his house.

"Yeah. Yeah I'll help. If what you really think is true, I'll tear that house apart looking for answers."

She said while she clenched a fist.

I smiled.

Now she's real serious about it too.

This is gonna be scary, and risky, but we're gonna do it.

We'll both figure out what's happening.
