27. Seven and Mono

-Present Time-

Seven

I felt like I was about to collapse.

I tried my hardest to remain calm but it felt impossible in the moment.

I covered my ears and backed into a corner.

I slid onto the ground and curled into a ball.

My head felt like it was about to blow up as tears streamed down my eyes.

In the moment though, I felt like I was dependent on six and mono.

I felt like, they we're here to fight for me.

I prayed for it to be true.

All I hoped for in the moment, was for someone to save me.

Mono

I stood in front of her. But It wasn't a scared stance. I was bold.

I'm fed up with this filthy disgrace of a mother in front of me, and her disgusting antics and actions.

I've been fed up..

ever since I spoke to her that day.

I was ready to stand up against her, but out of nowhere I heard a familiar voice.

"You know, I'm all for people voicing their opinions and expressing their feelings in different ways. And children can act up and get on your nerves sometime, But calling children slurs, let alone my homosexual son, is going too far."

Seven's mom looked to her right in confusion and anger.

My mom peaked into the door frame.

"Hi guys."

She said with a smile and a wave.

Me, seven and six all looked at each other in shock.

"M-Mom?!"

"Yes Mono."

All of us stood dumbfounded. She asked as if it was completely normal for her to be included in the situation.

"What are you doing here?"

"Defending my son from the homophobic and possibly threatening and dangerous neighbor."

She said it with such calmness it almost gave me chills.

"And here I thought you we're so charming Mrs. Rk."

My mom said with a smile, but then she quickly changed her facial expression within milliseconds.

Whenever she made that face, I knew she meant serious business.

"But I always thought something was off about you from the start."

My mom said.

"Sorry, but your son is a bad influence on my own. I'm trying to protect my child. Your kids probably getting into all sorts of trouble you have no clue about."
