This whole time, I can't believe i've been living a lie.

I feel like i've failed as a friend.

How could I not have noticed any of this. How could I have been so oblivious.

I'm not mad at seven for hiding something like this, I wouldn't want to tell me either.

I know now, and from now on seven, I promise, I will open my eyes.

I knew this, but yet hearing him say it, was too much even for me. It was my breaking point.

I couldn't even hurt this boy if I wanted to. He deserves everything.

From now on, I'm going to fight harder than I've ever fought before.

"You're so worth everything seven. I'm sorry i've been so blind to all this. I swear I'll make it up to you."

Six said while crying over my shoulder.

"We did everything that we did because we wanted to help you. We wanted to make change.  All of it was for you. Things will change for the better, maybe not now but they will. I promise."

Mono said as he sniffled.

I didn't know what to say, honestly.

I've never felt like this before.

I felt...hopeful.

I started crying yet again, and I hugged them both. I felt both of their chins crushing my shoulders but it was worth every second.

Later that evening..

"OKAY..okay so your telling me, that you had no idea until AFTER school ended?!"

Mono cackled while trying not to choke on his food.

"Oh my god YES. It sounds funny but It wasn't at the time I swear I thought the world was ending."

Six stated while trying not to laugh while drinking her soda.

We we're all eating dinner a little after our conversation from earlier.

Six was telling a story about how she had a piece of toilet paper hanging out of her shorts for a whole school day and she didnt even realize it until the day ended.

Of course it was the day I was absent, That would have been priceless.

"I feel like this is a prank"
Mono said as he slowly placed his chicken bone down.

"I SWEAR ITS A VERY TRUE STORY"
Six stated so loud the whole neighborhood might as well have heard it.

I sat there listening, but I didn't need to say anything. It was nice to see them laughing and having fun after such a tiresome day.

Mono's mom cooked really good food too.

She made us some chicken and mashed potatoes. Well as some vegetables if we wanted any, but it sure hit the spot.
