19. Mono

-Earlier-

"Are you positive we can do this without getting our asses busted."

Six asked me while we walked over to Seven's house.

"Look, I'm not sure about anything but hopefully we'll be fine. Just call me if anything happens or whatever. The whole reason why we're doing this is to be safe rather than sorry."

I reassured.

"Yeah, got it."

"Alright, now go around back, I already have a prepared response depending on who answers the door. I'll text you to let you know what happens."

I whispered while walking up the steps to the front door.

Hopefully we can pull this off. I'm practically shitting myself right now.

I've never done anything like this before and the anticipation of all this was killing me and my heart was racing.

Truth be told, I don't think I was ready to reveal the potential horrors that occured behind closed doors.

I was scared. But I wanted to try, because I know no one else is going to.

I just have to pray at this point. Hopefully everything plans out well.

I took a deep breath, then knocked on the door about 3 times.

There was a stiff, uncomfortable silence for a second, my heart almost skipped a beat when the door opened, but then

I was relieved shortly afterwards to see that same, familiar face I love.

"Mono?"

He asked shyly hiding behind the door.

"Heyy."

I replied smugly, but shallow.

"Hey Mono..."

I could tell he was embarrassed, as it awkwardly put tension between us.

The realization of what I was supposed to be doing hit me like a bus.

I got distracted..

"This is out of nowhere, but is your Mom home?"

I asked.

There was no way of avoiding asking that question without sounding shady or nosey, so I just went for it.

I mentally crossed my fingers praying that his mom wasn't home.

"Uh..No actually I'm pretty sure she just left. She said she was going out somewhere so I don't know when she'll be back. Maybe not for a while hopefully."

Thank fucking shit.

"Oh, alright, well since she isn't home, you wanna come over to my house?"

I asked.

This was more than a perfect opportunity. So far, this is going great. I just hope says yes.

"YES!"

He yelled.

He looked really happy about it.

Well shit.

Meanwhile, I could barely contain my excitement.

I know that we're supposed to be taking this seriously, which I am but, I want to spend more time with Seven..

I couldn't help but feel guilty somewhat.

We're doing this without him even knowing, I felt like I was helping him, but trying in the worst way possible.
