I thought fast as I decided to hide inside the shutter closet quietly before the door opened.

I struggled to keep quiet as I felt my knees weaken.

HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT.

Was all I could think of.

I heard sounds of bags being plopped down somewhere unknown and sounds of keys being thrown onto a table. I heard familiar yet strange grunts of what sounded like sleepiness.

I didn't know who could be home but I assumed it was his mom. I pulled out my phone slowly and turned the brightness all the way down.

I texted Mono a thousand times but there was no response.

FUCKING ANSWER!!!!

Why wasn't Mono answering his damn phone. Maybe there was a reason but shit this an emergency, and I couldn't call him because I couldn't make any noise!

"Seven!! You up there?"

I heard a familiar voice say in a raspy, terrifying tone.

It was his mom.

I heard footsteps stomping up the stairs slowly but loudly.

I covered my mouth with my hand as I trembled and turned off my phone.

I heard the a door swing open to my right. It was sevens room.

"Where the fuck did he go off to now?? Probably off with that shitty little neighbor kid. God he can never stay put can he. What a pain."

She said while slamming his door.

My eyes widened in fear.

Her aggression was all too real. I've never heard her get so angry before. Her voice was just as unsettling.

I saw a shadow walk past me through the shutters.

Please don't open this closet

Instead it never happened. She just walked back downstairs.
I heard footsteps of the living room tile and then familiar sounds of wood creaking and leather being pushed down. The TV turned on as loud as can be.

I sighed very quietly in relief.

I still got no response from Mono yet. I don't know what to do. How am I gonna leave??

Maybe I can cause a distraction, or maybe escape through the back door.

I tried to think of multiple ways to go about this situation, because I knew there was no way out of this right now.

Maybe I can stay here and when it's late enough at like 3 a.m I can leave, but I do NOT want to wait that long.

Fuck. What am I going to do.

Mono

I looked at Seven. He looked like he had just seen a ghost. His face was pale, and lifeless. When I dared to ask the question of the deadly, purpley-velvet, virus looking bruise. I dread to know what caused it.

Seven opened his mouth, but no words came out.

I looked at him with worry, and patience. The last thing I wanted to do was stress him out.

"I..I was moving stuff around my room a while ago and, I fell from a high place. That's all."

He said while tugging his light-blue collar back into place covering the vulnerable injury.
