Ed leads Oswald out onto the gazebo, which is illuminated by purple and green lights.

"Ed, what are trying to pull?" Oswald asks, trying to figure out what Ed's birthday surprise for him is.

"Oswald... We've been together for 11 months now, and, well... It's amazing... But I think...there's one thing...that could make it... Better..." Ed says with his signature Enigmatic smile.

"What do you mean?..." Oswald says blankly. Ed takes a deep breath and gets down on one knee. Oswald gasps in shock and jubilation, jumping back and clasping his hands over his mouth to keep from screaming.

"Oswald, I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You're all I never knew I needed, your firey spirit, quick wit, razor sharp personality, and impossible beauty are mesmerizing, and they've captured my heart.
Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, Will you marry me?" Ed says tearfully. Oswald is still frozen in shock, but suddenly his excitement is loudly obvious.
"OH MY GOD
YES YES YES!!! OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!!!!" Oswald is practically screaming at the top of his lungs. Ed stands and before he can get to the ring Oswald's lips are on his. "Hey, don't you wanna see the ring, silly?" Ed asks playfully. "Oh, right... Yes, please." Os says quietly, embarrassed. Ed pulls out a small purple ringbox and opens it to reveal a solid gold ring with a large round emerald stone on it. "It's so I'll always be with you... Mine will be purple, and there's a tracker in each of them so we can always find each other. You know, with how often we
get kidnapped." Ed says shyly, smiling down at Oswald. "It's beautiful, like you..." Oswald says innocently. Ed smiles and slides the ring on to Oswald's finger.

"SURPRISE!!! IT'S A BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!" Harley comes barreling down the small bridge that connects the deck to the gazebo. Ecco and Query follow behind her along with Zsasz, Ivy, and Gabe.

"She made me come down here. Wanted me to wear this stupid hat but I was like ‘just kill me’" Zsasz says quietly, embarrassed.

"Happy birthday, PUDDIN!" Harley says loudly, wrapping Oswald in a giant bear hug.

"Uhh... Harley, I can't breathe..." Oswald gasps.

"Oh, sorry." Harley releases him and turns to Ed.

"Ed, Did you ask him?! What did he say?!"
Harley squeaks.

"He said yes!" Ed says in jubilation, smiling from ear to ear.

Suddenly the screams of delight are deafening. Ecco, Query and Harley all hug Ed and Oswald in a big group hug. Ivy smiles.

"Congratulations, you two!" Gabe says proudly.
"you hurt him I'll kill you!" He says to Ed.

"I have no Ill intentions toward him." Ed says reassuringly, mirroring the words he said to Oswald all those years ago in Ed's apartment.

Time jump to wedding night

Ed holds on tight to his husband's hand as they lay side by side in the King sized bed in the honeymoon suite. Ed stares at Oswald's sleeping face. This beautiful face that he's glad he'll always wake up to every morning for the rest of his life.
Oswald is his husband! It seems unreal,but this man is...his. he's loved him three summers now, and now he's got them all.

His always
His forever
His one
His only
