Oswald walks to his desk, passing Edward the dog on the way past.
"I am surrounded by morons, Edward." Oswald says, irritated.
"Well, I know we have a lot to talk about, but first.....did you name your dog after me?" Ed the human says darkly.
"Ed, I...what are you doing here?!" Oswald snaps.
"You'll fix me? You said you'll fix me, but you didn't. You broke me." Ed growls.
"Look, you had been stabbed, I payed Hugo Strange to save your life."
"You payed Hugo Strange to save me? Why?"
"What was I supposed to do? Let you die? Ed, I..." Oswald closes his eyes, unable to fight the riotous feelings coursing through him.
He still loves Edward...
"I still love you Edward Nygma." Oswald says weakly.
Ed stands motionless, staring at Oswald.
"You do?"
"Yes. Of course I do. What else is there for me? I'll always be the ugly little birdman who loves you with all his heart." Oswald sniffles.
Ed's heart breaks at the scene. He lowers the gun, walking over to Oswald.
Ed wraps his arms around Oswald's tiny frame. Oswald gasps and squeezes Ed tight, crying tears of pure joy.
"I couldn't stop loving you either..." Ed whispers.
"So we're... good?"
Ed answers with a heated kiss that leaves Oswald breathless.
"Of course my little bird." Ed says warmly.
"Always..."
