Your friends had warned you about him. Told you to avoid dating the king of Gotham. They were afraid of you getting killed or worse.

You didn't listen. You love Oswald Cobblepot. He's amazing, intelligent, clever, handsome, and the best lover you've ever had. He was so gentle with you, the way he treated you like you were made of glass or porcelain. It made you feel special. Precious. Protected.

He's a Leo, you're a (zodiac sign), a perfect fit. He made you feel worthy of his love. You loved the way he always felt like the center of attention. And almost everytime he took the spotlight, he pulled you into it with him. You were his sidekick. His partner. His most trusted friend. You and him were a dynamic duo. You loved the adrenaline rush of robbing a bank or running from police.

But it all comes crashing down when your vicious king, your strong knight in shining armor, your fierce beautiful roaring lion is struck down. You don't know where he was. You have just heard he was shot by someone at that evil mother-killing monster Theo Galavan's victory party. You search the city fruitlessly until you end up in the woods. You search and search until midnight and finally...

You find him. By a trailer. On his knees. Begging for help from the strange man he just flung to the ground with the door.

"Ozzie!" You scream in terror.

"Y/N?" He says in disbelief before passing out.

"Who the hell are you?" The strange man says in panic.

"Y/N. Who are you?!" You snap.

"Edward Nygma. How do you know Mr Cobblepot?"

"He's my boyfriend." You say quietly.

Edward helps you get Oswald to Edward's car and Ed drives you and an unconscious Oswald back to Ed's apartment.

Three days later, Oswald woke up and panicked.

"Ozzie! Ozzie! I'm here!" You cried out, trying to hold him down. Ed sedated him quickly and he immediately fell asleep.

"I'm sorry about that, Ed. He can be kinda temperamental..." You apologize.

"It's okay, Y/N. I've dealt with worse from much worse people." Ed says warmly, walking to his kitchen and making dinner.
