It was the first day of the last semester of college at GCU. All the students were studying for the final exam. But none of them studied harder than Edward Nygma, the genius. He was top of his class, straight A's, neat penmanship. Everyone was secretly jealous. The worst ones took it out on him by bullying him. But he did have friends. Him and his friends hung out in thr study hall. Jerome was the class clown, Jeremiah was the other genius, Barbara, Silver, Tabitha, Sofia, and Ana were the pretty ones, Lee and Valerie were the girl nerds of sorts, Selina was the misfit, Fish was the Diva, Dent was the law student, Bullock was the Irish boy, Butch was the lovable idiot who got a D on every test, Jim was the boy scout, Bruce was the little rich kid, Ivy was the happy-go-lucky vegan, Theo was the other rich kid, Alice was the nervous brunette, Jervis was the Lewis Carrol fanatic, Arthur was the dorky shy accounting student, Zsasz was the loner, Fries was the cold romantic...

And then there was Oswald...the little punk boy with black hair and dark eyeliner, and darker mascara.
