Mad grey dawn

This is based around the mad grey dawn episode, but instead of Ed framing Jim to keep him from investigating Ms Kringles murder, it's revenge for letting a pregnant Oswald get thrown in Arkham.

Ed POV

Sane Oswald is... different. It almost freaked me out, but I couldn't turn him away, especially since he was showing so much already. I let him inside, he was covered in feathers that were seemingly tarred to his coat and hat.

"Um, would you like a shower? It might help soothe your nerves, besides you might have a backache from walking all the way over here." I say awkwardly. He smiles that unsettling innocent smile at me.

"Thank you, you're a good friend." Oswald says before walking to the bathroom.

"You still have some of my clothes, right?" He asks, standing in the doorway.

"Yes, I have some of them. Of course if they're too tight, erm, in certain areas, you could always have mine again." I say quietly.

"Thank you, Edward..." He says warmly before disappearing into the bathroom.

About 30 minutes later, he emerges, wearing only a towel around his waist.

Jim should pay for this...he did this to Oswald and then threw him in Arkham, ignored him when he begged him to help him, denied their unborn child, could've killed them both... Riddler pipes up behind me.

"You can sleep in the bed. I'll take the couch." I say quietly.

"Nonsense. We shared a bed before..." He says sweetly. Too sweetly.

"I hate that Jim did this to you...I hate that he threw you in Arkham and completely denied you and the baby." I can't believe what I just said.

Oswald looks at the floor, seemingly embarrassed by my statement.

He quickly puts on one of my t-shirts and some sweats, then climbs in bed. I catch him wipe a tear from his face and that's when I sit down beside him.

I wrap my arms around him, pulling him into a hug. He sniffles lightly, holding on tight.

"Ed...I'm sorry..."

"For what?"

"I practically cheated on you, I let Jim seduce me before you could even think about making your move...I denied you what you deserved...I lost my virginity to him instead of you...I'm unworthy..."

"Oswald, it doesn't matter. You don't see me apologizing for losing my virginity to Miss Kringle..." I say quietly, kissing his raven hair. Before I know it, he's asleep in my arms.

I will end Jim Gordon...

A/N hiii so I'm gonna do a part 2 with Ed framing Jim and it ends similarly. I won't include the scene with Jim and Lee, but I may adapt it for Nygmobblepot. IDK
