It was simple, the way Park Jimin's story started. The beginning of his life was wonderful. He was loved by everyone around and he had a very loving family. His little brother was the light of his life, truly. Had he known that everything would be ripped away from him, he never would've messed around with a very valued man— which, he was only twenty years old when he met him.
To put it quite simply, Jimin had found himself tangled up and sleeping with a man named Si-Woo. He would never forget that man for as long as he stays on Earth. Han Si-Woo was gorgeous— someone who Jimin just couldn't keep his hands off of.
Jimin had always been such an angel, so getting along with Si-Woo was easy. They were both very handsome and both very badly wanted each other. That was Jimin's first mistake. He would always keep himself near Si-Woo, showing the gorgeous man off to all the women with snake eyes on them. They were jealous, but Jimin was naive.
He and Si-Woo were alone one evening, which is a usual thing for them to do. They made sure to be alone. But horror filled every inch of Jimin's body as he was greeted with the sharpest, most massive set of teeth on his lover. He had no clue what it was and he was terrified the moment Si-Woo suddenly sank those pointers straight into his neck.
Whatever happened next was a blur.
All Jimin remembers was instincts. All he remembers is wanting to kill someone for the first time in his life. Wars happened all around him, people were killed, and it was hard to stay alive back then, but Jimin had never once been a soldier. He had wanted to be a friend, a person who heals and helps. So, when he found himself waking up to an innocent person in the hands of Si-Woo, Jimin immediately knew something was wrong when he wanted to kill her.
Instead, he watched as Si-Woo taunted the person in front of him. Watched as he sank his teeth into her neck and frowned as the woman screamed for her life. The blood dripping down her skin made Jimin feel weird. He could smell it. Si-Woo had introduced Jimin to a new lifeless life— one he didn't want.
"W-Why?" he stuttered, not knowing what to do with himself. He wanted so badly to not hurt the girl, but Si-Woo shoved her in Jimin's direction with an evil grin on his face.
It was awful, his instincts.
Jimin couldn't stop himself.
He apologized quietly to the short woman with pleading eyes, crying for her own life. The blood was too much, but it was the reason Jimin was feeling this way. He couldn't not want her. He winced to himself as he lunged for her so quickly that it took him by surprise. Jimin was feral and she was his prey. He attacked her for no reason at all, sinking his own sharp fangs into the woman who cried as much as Jimin did.
He didn't understand the concept of what he was doing. Si-Woo had bitten him too, but how come he hadn't died? Why was this woman dying in the arms of Jimin? Why was he even killing her in the first place? This woman did nothing to him. Jimin merely woke up and she was there, like being woken up to breakfast, as bad as that sounds.
Si-Woo chuckled darkly as Jimin sucked her dry. He couldn't not drink her blood— like some sort of drug. When he was done with her, he gently put her on the cold floor.
"S-She's dead."
All he got was a mere nod from Si-Woo, who began to walk towards Jimin with his blood-stained mouth and fangs. Si-Woo leaned in to kiss Jimin, but he wasn't having that. He didn't want to be so dirty like this, so he bit Si-Woo's bottom lip with his fangs. The lip was poked through, piercing the skin. Si-Woo cursed as he stumbled back away from Jimin.
"Ugh!" He glared up at Jimin, who backed away into the wall behind him. Si-Woo looked angry. "What the hell, Jimin?"
Jimin winced at the curse. "W-What is wrong with me, Si-Woo?" he asked.
"No biting," Si-Woo groaned as he felt his lip. "Why did you do that?"
"Don't—" Jimin bit his own lip, tilting his head in confusion as he realized his sharp teeth had disappeared. "Don't come any closer."
Si-Woo scoffed. "Or what?" he questioned him. "You should be grateful I kept you living, Park Jimin. I could've done worse."
"Worse?" Jimin whined as he looked down at the lifeless woman, a bloody mess around her. "You made me kill an innocent."
He shivered in fear as Si-Woo stepped towards him again. His face was twisted, blood still covering his mouth. He looked like a killer. He seemed to not care about the dead woman on the floor. Perhaps he is a killer.
"Oh, don't you worry." Si-Woo trapped Jimin against the wall. Jimin felt the need to hold his breath, but he soon learned that he wasn't even in need of it anyways. Nothing seemed to faze his body. He felt invincible. "You won't feel so guilty sooner or later, Jimin."
Si-Woo put his hand on Jimin's hip, which only angered the smaller. He narrowed his eyes at Si-Woo before he grabbed his hand and twisted it, gasping in surprise as he accidentally hurt him more than he intended to. He had Si-Woo's hand twisted all the way, earning a groan from the mad man.
Jimin let go of him.
"I-I'm sorry—"
Si-Woo reared back and punched the wall next to Jimin's head. He could hear the crumbling of the wall. Si-Woo had always looked strong, but this is different. He isn't strong, he's absolutely out of his mind with the way he can so easily break things. And even as Si-Woo grabbed ahold of Jimin's arm and twisted it, Jimin knew that this guy wasn't normal. Neither was Jimin.
He took a move that he learned from his father. He leaned his head back and lunged his forehead right into Si-Woo's nose— anything to attack the man who had him secured. Si-Woo grunted as he let go of Jimin to hold onto his nose. Jimin then pulled his arm back and threw a punch at the man, a little shaky from all of the sudden events happening, but still lunging at the man nonetheless.
The punch only made Si-Woo angrier, so Jimin fled to the door of the little room that they had been in for so long. He ran quick, at full speed. He was so unstoppable, but he could still hear the ringing of Si-Woo's words in his ears as he ran away from the building.
"You'll regret this."
