"Jeon Jungkook!"
"Park Jimin-ssi!"
Jimin narrowed his eyes at the younger, though it was in a playful way. "How come you call Taehyung hyung and not me?" He rolled his eyes. "Ungrateful brat."
He was trying to scold the boy, but to no avail. Taehyung had told Jimin that the youngest had signed up for high school again— something that Jimin had specifically told him not to do, not until he was at least out of the public eye for long enough.
Jungkook didn't go to university. He got a job working as a cashier, knowing that it was an easy job and could pay for his part of the bill to live with Jimin and Taehyung. But it wasn't long until he started complaining about his job, saying that it was always boring.
He was the one who complained, saying he sort of wished that he could go back to high school, even if he hated it so much.
Taehyung had joked and told Jungkook about them going back to school together, but Jimin had explained to them that they had to wait first. Instead, Jungkook and Taehyung had secretly signed up at a school, about two hours away from where they were living, and they had just moved into this apartment in the 90s! How inconvenient of them!
"I don't want to move just yet," Jimin sighed to the younger because Taehyung, who he should also be scolding, was at work.
"Taehyungie hyung is quitting his job today." Jungkook's lips tugged into a smirk as he sipped from his metal straw, a water container filled with blood between his hands.
Little brat.
"Give me one good reason why we should move and go to school again."
"Because I miss it!" the youngest groaned, then plopped his water container onto the table before walking towards the couch and sitting with his legs crossed on it. "Life is so boring without drama— I mean that literally. Drama class, music, P.E. I miss it~" he whined. "Please? Just for the last few years?"
Years?
Jimin rolled his eyes. "You signed up for more than one year?" he asked. "Listen, you may look young enough, but people are going to ask why Taehyung and I are in such a low class if we look older than everyone."
"It's 2019," Jungkook stated. "Nobody looks their own age anymore. If anything, you'll both fit right in." He smiled devilishly.
This boy is too good at defending. (He has cute eyes. What? Jimin can't say no).
"Fine," Jimin let out eventually, a grin from the younger appearing. "Did Tae at least make sure we have a place to move into first? He didn't just pick a random spot, right?"
"Brighton!" Jungkook said.
Jimin shuddered. Brighton hit way too close to home. Why would Taehyung choose such an awful place— a place close to their roots?
"So he did find us a house?" Jimin asked. Jungkook merely nodded, still excited, but only because he had no problem with the place they were going to. He didn't know how close it was to Jimin and Taehyung's first house.
"Yes. He said he has a friend who owns the house. Said he'd let us stay there, but it only has two bedrooms, though. The spare bedroom was turned into an office. It'll be fine, though. I'll just share a closet with him."
Jimin raised an eyebrow at him. "Since when does he have friends other than us?"
"I know right," Jungkook pouted. "But hey, I saw the house, so I'm not complaining."
Jimin frowned, though.
So Taehyung and Jungkook just went ahead and put all of this together? Surely Taehyung did it behind his back merely because he knew Jimin would tell him no; but that's the damn point. Jimin would've said no.
"Fine. I guess we can go, then."
