"You know," Seokjin started, voice relaxed in the night. The two of them were laid out in the grass again, looking up at the clouds which covered the stars. It looked like it was going to rain, by the dark clouds and wind blowing the tall grass against their bodies.

Jimin paid attention to the sky, knowing he didn't have to look at the older during their conversations. It wasn't rude, but it made it easier for both of them to talk— especially for Seokjin, who sometimes gets shy.

"The night is so pretty." Seokjin sighed out in content. "Don't you think so?"

"Of course."

"Daytime is nice as well," the older continued, "but the sun feels odd on my body. And we never need to sleep, so I've grown to love the night as I spend time out here."

Jimin nodded, his hair mashing into the ground. "It's beautiful."

A soft smile made its way onto Seokjin's face. His hand ever so slowly left his side, searching for a way to Jimin's hand. The brush of their skin was enough to make Jimin bite back a smile of his own, but as Seokjin intertwined their fingers, he couldn't help it.

He was glowing.

"You're beautiful, Jimin."

Jimin let out a quick chuckle. "I thought you told me that you were a coward when you're sober," he reminded him.

Seokjin chuckled as well. "Well, I must be drunk on you then, Jimin-ah."

At that, Jimin laughed. He couldn't help but let his eyes close and smile grow big. "Hyung, you know that you can't marry me, yes? You sure do make me believe it's possible, with the way you choose to flirt with me."

Seokjin scoffed. "Do you think that I care about what other people think of me or even of you, Jimin? I want you. I want you, and if you'll let me, nothing else will matter."

"You want me?" Jimin asked, gripping tightly onto Seokjin's hand.

His hand also clenched, but he wasn't looking at the younger still. "I do. And if any human has something to say, you know what can happen to them. I won't hesitate."

Oh.

"You cannot murder."

"It isn't murder," Seokjin let out. "It's defending us. We aren't human anymore, Jimin-ah. If there are any dangers against me, or you, or any of my friends... Like I said before, I am not going to hesitate."

Jimin sighed. The clouds were subsiding, but the wind was still blowing strands of his hair into his eyes. "Then show me you want me, hyung." He paused for a moment, thinking of his own words. If Seokjin wants him, then so be it. "Kiss me under these stars."

A sudden silence. Then, a chuckle.

As Seokjin raised himself off of the ground, Jimin could see his stunning smile, mirth filled in his eyes as he leaned down to him. Their faces were inches away, very patient as Seokjin tucked Jimin's hair away from his eyes.

"You sound as if you enjoy the stars more than I do, Park Jimin," Seokjin muttered.

Jimin pursed his lips as the older looked at them. "The night is ours, hyung," he said, making sure to leave his lips parted.

His hand so slowly made its way to Jimin's lips. Fingers brushing the round, pink skin. Jimin could feel his bottom lip move with the smooth pad of Seokjin's thumb.

As if they had waited for centuries, Seokjin leaned in to close the tiny gap between them. They both inhaled sharply as the older dived in and soon they hummed in satisfaction, just the gentle sealing of their lips being enough for them. Seokjin's plump lips against Jimin's, both cold, yet so electrifying as Jimin pulled him closer, hands on the back of his neck and head lifted only enough to feel more.

Jimin had occasionally wondered how the older's kiss would feel. He always knew that Seokjin would be gentle, as he is now. Gentle hand cupping his cheek, careful press of his lips onto his, and another brushing of Jimin's hair, the wind still blowing at it.

When he pulled away, Jimin's eyes fluttered back open. The stars— Seokjin. Kim Seokjin with the scenery of bright stars behind him. The moon was there too, shining down onto them as if they were in the spotlight. The older looked like he was from a painting.

Seokjin leaned in once again, this time his lips pressing onto Jimin's forehead.

"Our night."

——

Eventually, Jimin had gotten Taehyung to go with him again on his visits to see Seokjin. He had liked when Taehyung went with him and was so full of joy and laughter, but for some reason, not even Hoseok's smile, Seokjin's teasing and laughter, or even Namjoon's kind words made Taehyung cheer up.

Jimin had no idea what was wrong with him, but the younger had at least found it in him to go with Jimin, at least. He at least would sit and endure their attempts in making him feel better. Though they weren't so close, Jimin still felt the need to encourage in any way.

But for weeks, Taehyung was silent.

  It was no use.

Jimin had also become closer with Namjoon at some point during his visits. A lot of the times, Hoseok would be gone, and Seokjin was always a delight, but Namjoon's talks hit differently than anyone else's. Talks about life, about the little things. Sometimes as Seokjin hunts, the two sit at the table and just talk about anything and everything.

As with Seokjin, it was seamless.

It could have been his squeak of a laugh and bright eyes. Or maybe it was the carelessness he brought to the table and the way he lives life so straightforwardly. Seokjin will do anything to make Jimin smile, and he will joke around but also become serious when he needs to. He's so unpredictable.

Seokjin was the guy who everyone could find themselves falling for. Not because he could be charming and flirtatious with just anyone, but because of his personality. Because of how handsome he was, and because he was always so gentle and caring, never using his looks or charms to fool anyone.

Jimin could see it in his eyes. Unlike his ex, who had lustful eyes and a captivating smile, Jimin could see that Seokjin was nothing like him just by his eyes. His eyes were filled with mirth, with care, twinkling every time he looked at Jimin, every time he smiled, or every time he'd listen to Jimin speak.

It was seamless, the way Jimin had started to glow every time he thought of Seokjin.

All he knew was one day turned into the next, and suddenly he was falling in love. Every day was new. Every day, Jimin would notice something more. Dark, pretty eyes, gorgeous smile, jokes that sometimes weren't funny yet had everyone laughing, and gentle caresses as they sat in their little group and talked about anything recent in the town.

Seokjin felt like home.

Jimin's walls were built high around his heart. He didn't want to let them down, but Seokjin didn't destroy those walls. Instead, he created a door, which Jimin willingly unlocked ad invited him through. Seokjin not only felt like home, but he made a home right in Jimin's heart— beating or not.

He was falling in love with the right guy. Never mistaken. Seokjin was it. Seokjin was the right one for him, he just knew it.

He could never do any wrong.
