"Oh my God."

"Don't, Jungkook." Jimin groaned out, his bones aching, but that's about it.

He and Taehyung got in a physical fight, but Jimin was more emotionally hurt than anything. He plopped onto the couch and rested his head in his hands, ignoring the younger, who was looking at him with wide eyes and beginning to panic.

Jimin's hair and clothes were a mess, falling off, his brand new jacket somehow ripped off of him, but instead of worrying about it, he threw it onto the living room floor and groaned out in frustration.

"W-What happened, hyung?"

Jimin glared at the floor. "Kim Taehyung happened, Jungkook," he explained, voice fierce as that name left his mouth.

The younger's mouth fell open and he examined Jimin again. "Wait, hyung did this do you? W-Where is he? Are you- you guys are okay, right?" he asked.

"I don't know," Jimin sighed. "Taehyung is fine. Perfectly fucking fine. I'm the one who got fucking attacked, here. But I left before he could do anything worse. Don't worry, Jungkook. He was just..." He sighed again, his thoughts settling down the more he stayed away from the scene. "I guess he was just protecting humans... I don't know."

Jungkook tilted his head. "Protecting humans? What does that mean?"

"That little fucker," Jimin clenched his fists as he spoke. "Min Yoongi."

"Oh?"

"It's whatever," Jimin told him. "I get it. It's fine."

"But he hurt you, hyung."

"It's fine."

Jimin had tried to act normally with Taehyung, but he knew something was up even if he did try and ignore it as if Taehyung hadn't nearly tried to kill him at the damn party over a human. He figured there was a purpose for it, though.

Jin and his friends started to eye them, so Jimin knew that he had probably fucked up. And as much as he should've felt bad, Jimin didn't feel bad about it.

At that point, this was all Yoongi's fault. He shouldn't have went off alone at the party. He shouldn't have been alone. He shouldn't be stealing Seokjin from Jimin.

But Jimin had caught Taehyung and Yoongi alone one day, and suddenly things were connecting. He began to think that Taehyung wasn't saving merely some random human. Even so, Jimin wanted answers. He wanted to not have Taehyung going against him, and he wanted Seokjin to notice him again— he needed him to notice him.

He had tried to ask Jungkook about Yoongi and Taehyung, or even Seokjin and Yoongi, but he seemed to know nothing.

Until one day. One day, Jungkook had come back home and told Jimin that Taehyung had done the same thing to him— he knew that Taehyung was near, he could smell him, so he pretended he was going to bite Yoongi, and boy, was Jungkook shook up when he came through the door.

"He freaking choked me!" Jungkook complained. "I wasn't going to really bite Yoongi, but what the hell, man?" He was dramatically whining to Jimin, who simply rolled his eyes.

"You see?" Jimin asked. "Does Taehyung like this boy or something? You should ask."

"No," Jungkook pouted. "He's mean. Freaking ruthless. No way."

——

Plan two was to ask Yoongi what the fuck Taehyung was doing.

It started out by following the human to some house— Jimin immediately knew it was Jin's house. By scoping out the area and all, it was easy to know that it was. And he knew where Yoongi lived already— don't ask how— so he knew that it wasn't his house.

So, Jimin and Jungkook made sure the others were all gone before they they caught Yoongi. Even that had somehow ended up in Yoongi scaredly telling them oh, I don't know why Taehyung saved me. Just ask him.

If they could, they damn sure would. But Taehyung won't even barely look at them anymore. And besides, why does this human have to lie? There's no way Yoongi doesn't know about them by now. There's no way Taehyung saved this human for no reason, and even attacked his own friends for him.

Even then, as they were talking to the human, Taehyung appeared out of nowhere and bit down onto Jungkook's shoulder for merely asking Yoongi a question. Jungkook swore at Taehyung, but Jimin was too busy being focused at that moment.

Taehyung is going to extreme measures to save this human.

He must be special.

"Stay back," Taehyung told them. "If you kill or hurt him, the others will kill us and you know it. This is their territory. Yoongi is theirs. And so is this house. Are you guys crazy?"

Well, yeah. Jimin is pretty crazy.

"Why do you even care?" Jimin asked. "What? You wanna be a part of their little family or something? Is that it?"

Why does he save this human?

"We wouldn't take him even if he was fucking planning on it, Park Jimin." Seokjin's harsh voice was suddenly behind Jimin, something he wasn't expecting, like, ever. Jin had always been so soft with him. The new stern, low voice made him frown, but he turned around to see Seokjin and the other two anyways. "What the fuck is he doing with Yoongi?" Seokjin pointed at Taehyung, clearly furious.

Oh. Right. Yoongi.

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

Jimin didn't know what was up with him lately at all. He made his way toward Seokjin and without asking, he settled his hand down on the other's chest.

His hand was numb, but he had never felt so alive as he looked up into Seokjin's eyes. So close. He was daring, probably threatening his own life, but he knew Seokjin wouldn't hurt him. He knew that he had his way with him just by the subtle look in his eyes.

"Your pet has apparently caught the attention of ours." He gave a mischievous smile to Seokjin, who merely glared up at Taehyung. "Can't you see that, hyung?"

"Give me Yoongi," Seokjin demanded. "Now, unless you want Jimin to kill him."

Well, that's not what he wanted.

"If you kill Yoongi, I kill myself," Taehyung told them.

God damnit. What? Why the fuck?

  Fine.

Jimin turned to Seokjin, irritated. If he can't get anything out of Taehyung, then maybe he can get it out of Yoongi. He, though he didn't want to, attacked Seokjin, pushing him into his own house to merely scare Yoongi. Wanting answers from someone.

Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows at the younger, a hint of confusion and hurt in his eyes. After all, he had taught and helped Jimin for so long. He seemed to know that Jimin could've done better, but Seokjin wouldn't be easy on him.

He pulled Jimin off of him and slammed him into the house instead, a sudden shock to the younger vampire. It was odd, having Seokjin's strength used against him. And it kind of hurt. He had never experienced this before.

That hurt was the only reason that Jimin had chosen to leave them alone for the day. He almost couldn't hold back his tears as he weakly pushed Jin away from him.

"Come on, Jungkook. We're leaving."
