Jimin decided to leave home.

He lived with his little brother, having moved away from their parents only recently. Though they always visited, so it felt like nothing much had changed. The only thing that would hurt Jimin is actually leaving them. He loved his family very dearly. His mom and dad were loving, always looking out for him. And to Jimin's little brother— he had always been there for him. He felt bad for leaving his little brother and parents.

But, he did.

It didn't take long to gather his things because he didn't have much to pack. He shoved some clothes and supplies into a bag, then he wrote a letter to his family. That was it.

No "dear mom and dad," but just an "I'm sorry for leaving. Take care, and I love you all very much." That was how Jimin decided to write himself off. He had to leave his family and all of his friends behind. It hurt, and he loves them all, but that's why he had to leave. If he injured them in any way, he would never forgive himself. He didn't know if he'd harm them and so he didn't chance it.

He set off by leaving the town he was born and raised in. A wash of regret swarmed over him as he stepped foot out of the place he had lived in for so long. Never in his life would he forget this place. The place he grew up, the place where he made and lost so many friends and loved ones. The place with past lovers and memories that would stick with him for forever. It was time to let them go.

The moment he stepped out of the town, he ran for it. He learned how quick he could run and it startled him. It frightened him to have such power of taking off somewhere so instantly. It felt like an imagination.

He didn't know where he was going, but he knew of some other towns nearby, and even some far away. So he ran and ran until he felt like nothing could stop him. He couldn't be stopped, not until he finally just gave up. Not until every tear falling down his cheek finally disappeared and suddenly he was in some town that he had never seen before, now leaned up against a building and throwing his bag beside him as he sat against the stone wall.

For a while, he just sat there in the darkness and gathered his thoughts.

There weren't many people out in the nighttime, so Jimin was thankful for that. He didn't have that unfamiliar scent prickling at his nose anymore. It felt good to finally think straight. It felt good to settle down.

His first thought was about how fast he had run, and how he did it. Then he thought about how weird it was that he wasn't out of breath from it. He reached up to his heart, where it would normally be racing, but he felt nothing. He couldn't feel his heart beating. After a minute of feeling his chest, Jimin lifted up off of the building and furrowed his eyebrows down at him chest. His heart isn't beating. What is wrong with him?

"You seem lost."

Jimin jumped at the sound of a honey-like voice. He turned his head to look to the left, discovering a tall man peeking down at him. He had no lantern in his hand, so Jimin didn't know how the man saw him. Then again, how was he seeing the man?

The man walked towards Jimin, but he pulled his knees to his chest and frowned at him. He didn't want to hurt another innocent person, but this man was so close to him in the dark, and nobody was around them. The man sat next to Jimin and just sat in silence.

"What do you want?" Jimin asked, his voice fading away as the man hummed.

He glanced up at the man. "I'm Seokjin," he said. Seokjin was handsome, with a striking face and gorgeous, deep eyes, but Jimin tried not to pay attention to that. Instead, he stared down at Seokjin's hand as he held it out to him, wanting to shake hands.
