Something was wrong with Taehyung.
Jimin was going to visit with his other friends again, so he figured that it would be nice to ask Taehyung if he wanted to go with him, but for some reason, his door was closed. His bedroom door was closed, and come to think of it, Jimin had never seen his door shut before.
He knocked, but got nothing in return. Taehyung must have been busy or maybe he just wasn't in the mood to go out, which is weird considering he goes out a lot lately. He must be looking into it too much.
Jimin went alone, anyhow.
In all sincerity, he wanted to see Seokjin again. Of course, he did. After he had left their house a few days ago, Jimin had daydreamed of so many things. He could hardly focus on anything because Seokjin was frequently on his mind now. It was strange.
Jimin wanted to live alone, which he failed at. He didn't want friends, which he also failed at. And he didn't want a relationship with anyone because he didn't want to be hurt if he lost someone again, which, at this point, he clearly can't control himself.
From what he's learned, Seokjin is nice, he's funny, and he is gorgeous. Perfect.
It wouldn't be so bad to want him, right? Even if he wanted no lover, he wants Jin.
He went to Seokjin's house, expecting him to be the one to answer the door, but was met with the face of Namjoon instead.
"Oh, Jimin." Namjoon smiled down at him. It was in the evening because Jimin had his heart set on spending another night looking up at the stars, just because he's that much of a romantic. Namjoon opened the door for him, inviting him inside. "The other two are out right now, if you were here for Jin."
Oh?
Seokjin and Hoseok are out. Right.
"Well," Jimin waved him off with his hand. "I come to see you guys as well. Not just Seokjin hyung. We're friends too."
Namjoon nodded as he closed the door behind him. "Of course, we are. But you and hyung..." he trailed off. "Well, since you're here, we can wait until they get back. They were only filling more of those blood pouches. They should be back soon. For now, how was your day Jimin-ah? Spent well?"
They made their way to the kitchen and Namjoon pulled out Jimin's chair for him, very gentleman-like, so Jimin thanked him.
"My day was nice," Jimin said as he sat down. Namjoon, the apparent chief of this small group of bloodsuckers, had always given off such a delightful aura. He's always nice, welcoming, easy to talk to. "How was your day, hyung? Accomplish anything?"
Namjoon sighed out as he made his way to sit across from Jimin.
"Not too bad. I didn't do much." He leaned back, dimples appearing as he grinned knowingly. "I know you're here for Seokjin hyung. There is no need to stifle."
Jimin's lips fell into a pout.
"Why?"
"I see how you and hyung are acting lately," Namjoon said, pure amusement in his voice. "Hoseok was teasing him about it yesterday, so it's my turn to tease you about it."
The younger huffed. "Even if I denied it, you would still accuse me of liking him."
Namjoon chuckled. "I didn't accuse you of liking him, but you didn't deny it."
"I deny your statement."
"It was your statement."
Jimin pouted again. "Don't mention it to hyung, then. It's embarrassing."
"Oh?" Namjoon grinned. "So you do like hyung? Don't worry. In no time, he will catch on. Hopefully you too, in that case."
"What does that mean?"
The older only snickered. Even if he were to answer, he didn't have long because the front door opened and revealed the other two household members. Hoseok, who looked cautious, and Seokjin, who was saying something while laughing, but soon settled down as his eyes landed on Jimin.
"Oh, Jiminie!" Hoseok smiled.
Jiminie. He had never heard that type of name be used on him before.
"Hi," Jimin murmured, still a little bashful by Namjoon. Hopefully, Seokjin didn't hear their conversation before he walked in.
The oldest, who was carrying a large sack, set it down on the floor, then pulled out the chair next to Jimin and sat down. "Good evening, Jimin. How long have you been here?"
"Only a bit," Namjoon answered. "We were just talking about you."
Jimin scrunched his nose at the man. "We were not. Namjoon hyung was."
"If you say so," Namjoon said as he stood up from the table. "We're going to the bar," he said as he wrapped his arm around Hoseok, who looked at him with wide eyes and parted lips. "I was promised a drink. Right, Hoseok?"
Hoseok pursed his lips and furrowed his eyebrows as if to think, but soon nodded in agreement. "Right. I remember."
It was Seokjin who rolled his eyes at the two, who simply smiled evilly in return.
"Crazy boys."
"Men," Namjoon corrected.
"Barely," Seokjin muttered out as the two fled the house. He turned to Jimin, the noisy house settling down now as they were left alone. "So, why did you come here? Miss me?"
Jimin sighed, though it was true. He did sort of miss Seokjin. After all, why would he find himself here so often now?
"If I say yes..."
"I'd believe it," Seokjin continued.
Jimin leaned over the table, laying his head down in his arms to look up at the older. It was something he had learned, his eyes becoming big and pretty as he looks upwards at someone. It had always been the gaze he uses to plead with. The smaller he seems, the cuter he is. Like a child begging for candy.
"If I missed you, then what?" He snuggled his head into his arms as he glanced up at Seokjin with said pretty eyes.
Seokjin was the one to sigh, then. He leaned back in his chair, still holding eye contact with Jimin. "If you missed me, then why did you come here? The more time we spend together, the more you'll miss me when you go."
That is true. But that's the point.
"Hyung," Jimin's voice was near a whisper. He lifted his head from the table to be eye to eye with him. He wasn't sure of what was happening anymore, but he couldn't resist speaking. "What if I don't want to go?"
The look in Seokjin's eyes as his attitude became more serious made him shudder. Seokjin looked as if he wanted to say something, but instead, he stared at Jimin for a moment, processing what he had said. Even Jimin had to think about what he had confessed; did he want to leave?
No.
It's been years already, but if Seokjin didn't want him to, he'd never leave.
"Jimin..."
He was looking down at Jimin's lips now. "Yes, hyung?" Jimin murmured.
Then, Seokjin was leaning into Jimin. The younger closed his eyes, letting the soft bite on his bottom lip go, which he didn't even know he had ahold of. Eventually, soft lips met his forehead, lingering for a moment.
Jimin sucked in his lip again, this time biting down on it harder. He wanted a kiss on the lips. That's what he wanted. But as Seokjin pulled away, he realized he was smiling because of the older once again anyways. He can never not smile with him.
"I missed you too, Jimin."
