❗️TW // Car Accident, Blood❗️

Meeting Jeon Jungkook was never really a part of Jimin's plan. Life had flown by so quickly that everything became a blur. The year was 1991. Jimin and Taehyung hadn't left each other's side since Seokjin and Jimin had broken up in the late 1800s. It was better, having another person living with him.

Prices were raised, but Taehyung and Jimin had racked up on money. From selling "ancient" jewelry, from saving up money from their numerous jobs, from them simply saving money and renting apartments even if they had plenty of money at this point to buy a home; and they had saved so much money from not ever needing food or medical services or cars— life was simple without human needs.

It wasn't long before Taehyung had opened an idea to Jimin; they could get fake IDs and attend school. They obviously knew history, but other basic classes would be fun, Taehyung had told Jimin. It would be fun to go and see what the kids are putting up with because Taehyung was always curious and they were both always keeping up with new trends.

"What should I wear?" Taehyung asked him, the day they were to shop for supplies.

"To the store?" Jimin asked. "Taehyung, since when do you ask me what to wear?"

The younger frowned as he looked through the closet of their shared apartment. Jimin was waiting on his friend to stop being so slow in getting ready; hell, they were just going to the shop to buy school supplies, anyway.

"But I want to dress like what a student would dress like," Taehyung said. "It's not every day that I get to act younger than I am. Hell, I'm centuries old. I forgot how to be a kid."

Jimin cracked up as Taehyung held up a white t-shirt. "That's good. Wear that tucked into some jeans. You'll look fine."

"I don't want to look fine," he frowned as he held up the shirt. "Jimin, there's no point in going to school if we're just going to act like we usually do. The point is to fit in. We can't act like old men—"

"Since when do we ever act old?"

"Well," Taehyung rolled his eyes. "You know what I mean. I was a fun child. I want to relive that memory. Don't you?"

  Does he?

It's been so many years. He's right, though. Jimin has a chance to be a teenager. He has a chance to live like a human; they do live as humans, but not in a true way.

"Fine," Jimin sighed out. "If I end up biting some kid's neck off, it's your fault."

Taehyung looked back at him, horror in his stare. "You wouldn't," he said.

  Jimin shrugged.

He truly wouldn't hurt a kid, though.

The first day of school was the most stressful thing Jimin felt like he's ever been put through, and he's been put through hundreds of job interviews before. Things were so confusing. Hallways, classrooms, schedules. Why the hell do they have to wake up earlier than people with regular jobs do?

However, a lifesaver thankfully came upon Jimin and Taehyung.

"Sir, do you know where the cafeteria is?" Taehyung had asked a nearby boy.

The boy had dark brown hair, wide, confused eyes, and parted lips as he looked up at Taehyung. "S-Sir?" he stuttered. "Um, yeah. That's where everyone is going now. You two are new students, right? I- I think the whole school has been talking about you."
