A/N: OKAY! So first off let me apologize for this taking so bloody long, I had actually wrote and rewrote this chapter 4 times because the fighting in the chapter kept being a nucance to me, and honestly it still is. Originally when I think of something in advance for the book I tend to write it then and there and fit it in later, sadly I did not do that when the fighting for this chapter happened which I truely regret. I will go back to it eventually and rework it to make it flow better but for now this is the best I can offer, hope your not mad at me taking so long with it! O_O

But I still hope you enjoy this chapter and what's to come! :)

Update: I think I've reworked it so it flows better then before, not 100% mind you, but it feels better then it was. since the delay in chapter 35 I took to opertunity to relook over some chapters that I had written and read it aloud to see what flows well and what doesn't. Needless to say this is the retult and I hope you all like it.

Chapter Thirty Two

Radu ran fast and swift, past many of men and women screaming in terror. Glancing back he saw that Gottfried was doing as the Prince requested, telling others to grab fire and fight back against those monsters. He weaved past people and monsters, helping the women killing Duns as he went, telling some of the women about the fire that could protect them.

He saw Cleric fighting off the Duns and goblins with a dagger along with a torch keeping them at bay while defending the other handmaidens who were huddled in a corner frightened with terror near his sister’s carriage only she was no longer there. Quickly Radu rushed for the trolls, jumped on its back and before the beast realized it he stabbed the creature through its skull and deep into its brain before falling to the ground with a heavy thud.

“Prince Radu,” Cleric panted for breath as he approached her swiftly. “You’re alright.”

“Where is my sister?” Radu demanded. “Why isn’t she with you and the other handmaidens?”

“We tried to keep her safe, but that man…” she shook her head in self-loathing.

Another one of the handmaidens finished for her. “He killed Ara, crushed her skull, for some reason the rest of us but her and the Princess were able to move, when Ara tried to stab the man your sister took that as an opportunity to run.”

            “Run where?”

“The forest,” the woman gulped. “She ran into the forest thinking she would lose him, or at least I believe that’s what she thought.”

“Any of us would think that,” another one muttered, shaken and terrified with fright as a younger handmaiden clung to her. “That is until those monsters appeared…”

“Which way did she go?” he demanded.

“To the south!” Cleric said as she swatted away more of the Duns with the torch.

“Alright, now I want all of you to grab a torch, these monsters hate the light, when you have one stay in a group and head over to Gottfried, he and his knights are gathering as many people and fire they can, if you are able try to do the same. I have to get my sister…”
