"Back to the tour bus, duh." She continues to walk, closing the tube and going through the same path we had gone before the concert.

The group now was smaller, only about 25 girls, some the same as before but a few different. Laila then hands me back the stuff to put in my bag while still continuing to walk. She walks with so much confidence that sometimes I envy her. "We can only stay for 30 minutes, I still gotta take you home. It's a Monday too, and I would also like to spend time with my mother on her birthday." I remind her.

"Okay, okay Kir, we can leave after 30. I just want you to see Zach before we leave." She says, waving to the girls as we finally get to the group.

I look at her confused, "Why?"

"Did you forget about the part where y'all are soulmates or?" She looks at me, so close to rolling her eyes but not quite yet. "You know, the more you say it doesn't make it true." I reply to her. She now fully rolls her eyes and goes back to looking at the door the boys once disappeared from.

It's been about 28 minutes, and now it's just about 20 girls, all waiting for the boys to come out and say hello before they entirely leave town.

"Dude, please can we go home? My legs are tired and I just want to sleep." I nudged her. She won't even move. I really don't want to run into Zach again.

"I have 2 more minutes. Suck it up, you gave me 30 minutes and I'm using all 30. They will be out here." She states agitated. She's so dead set on always being right. It gives me a headache, I just want to scream.

I want to change into my PJs and let my bed just swallow up my tiredness, but NO, I have to fall in love with Zach.

"What makes you think-" I ask, only to be cut off by screams. I need to stop doubting Laila because clearly, she's always in favor.

GOD, fangirls love to scream.

I look up to see the 5 boys walkout, all with hoodies up and hats on. They are clearly trying to leave without it being a whole fuss. They all continue to walk until Zach slightly glances up, scanning the crowd, and sees me. His entire face lights up, and the signature smirk is back. I wonder how he can always find me, even without trying. He slightly hits Corbyn in the chest, whispers something, and then jogs over. The girls scream his name, and he shoots them smiles but focuses his attention on me.

"Hey Beautiful, I saw you liked the show." He says. "I knew I'd see you later"

"It wasn't bad but I've been to better" I say back, almost wanting to smile, but I don't want him to win.

"Awh, c'mon, you don't mean that." He says, trying to give me somewhat of a pleading look.

"Don't you have other cities to tour?" I say, trying any way to exit the conversation. I don't know what this boy does to me. It makes me want to throw up and giggle at the same time. Yeah, I know I said giggle. This is humiliating.

"Yeah, but we are here for another day." He says. "We got an extra day to have a rest stop before traveling again."

"Oh?" I ask.

"Mhm. You know what? I just came up with the best idea." He says, his whole face completely lightens up more, if that's even possible. "You should take me on a date tomorrow."

"A what?" I blink; I need to get my ears checked because there's no way in hell I just heard a member of a famous boy band say that to me.

"A date. We meet in central park at 8 am, you know, by the fountain-"

"Bethesda Terrace?" I say.

"Yeah whatever, the one with the angel." dismissing me but proceeding to go on. "We grab breakfast, you take me to all your favorite spots, and I get to spend the day with you. It's a win-win situation." He says with the biggest grin as if this had been his master plan all along.

"What do I get out of it?"

It doesn't sound like I won anything.

'You get free breakfast, get to go to your favorite places, and spend an entire day with boyband icon Zach Herron." he says, gesturing to himself. I scoff. Just when I thought the boy couldn't get cockier, he proves himself yet again.

"Free breakfast?"

"Yeah Kira, you might be the one taking me on a date but I'm a gentleman." he says so nonchalantly. At that, I laugh.

"So is that a yes or a no?" He asks genuinely. Up until this point, it seemed like a big joke, but something in his eyes tells me that he's not actually joking.

"But I don't even know-" I start. I'm cut off by Laila immediately saying. "She'll be there" in a blurt. I look at her with the hugest eyes.

What the fuck did she just sign me up for? I never agreed. I don't understand what-

His voice snaps me out of my thoughts. "Perfect, I'll see you there at 8, Kira. Don't be late." He says, walking away backward pointing at me. He stops to blow a kiss at the crowd and then steps onto the bus.

Laila squeals, but I am left speechless. As we walk back and get onto the train, my thoughts move at a million miles per hour. They keep moving and moving, and even I can't grasp onto them. I sit in silence as the whole world around me moves. It's like struggling to catch your breath. But in the right way, where all the butterflies flutter up to your throat but then flutter back down.

Holy crap. Holy. Fucking. Crap. He has to be joking, right. My mind can't process the thought of actually going on a romantic date with him. It's a joke. He's famous, and I'm from a two-bedroom apartment.

I have a date, my first ever date, with Zachary motherfucking Herron. Tomorrow is gonna be real interesting.
