(Zach's POV)

"This is probably the best song you've written." Corbyn says to me as we play "Hard" on the bus's speaker. We've been on tour for about a month and a half now, and every concert has been insane. But not one girl's face sticks out in the crowd, not like Ira's.

I grin, "I love it."

"When should we pitch the song to Randy?" Daniel asks, tapping his foot along to the song.

"As soon as possible, our fans have been waiting for this song ever since the interview." Jack replies, tossing a water bottle to me as he sits down with the rest of us.

"You think Kira will be mad? You didn't exactly hide that it was her. The lyrics pretty much give it away." Jonah asks, leaning into his chair

"I don't think so. I'm still evidently in love with Ira so it's not like I would ever diss her. I just started writing about it and ended up actually finishing the song." I state while twisting the cap off my water bottle.

"Plus, who's going to be listening and be like "Oh, this is totally about Kira"?" Jack says, backing me up.

"Are you forgetting the fact our fans are literally the FBI? I swear, someone needs to get these teenage girls on the most wanted list and they'll all be caught." Corbyn says, readjusting his chains.

"How mad do you think Em is going to be? About the song?" Daniel asks as he lowers the song's volume to play in the background, not overriding our conversation.

"Hopefully not enough to rip my head off when it drops." I say, taking another sip.

"Well we can play it for her tonight and see what she thinks." Jonah says, tapping away at something on his phone. By his expression, I can tell it's Naomi, but he hasn't wanted to talk about her in a while. All we know is the fact they broke up but still continue talking because she's obsessed with him, and he won't get rid of her.

"She's coming? She ACTUALLY told you instead of acting like a crazed fan in the stands." Jack asks, surprised. "I swear I was about to call security in Memphis until I realized it was her." He says, reminding us all of the time that a "fan" snuck backstage and scared us senseless in our green room.

"Yeah, she only told me because of Ny and the fact that she couldn't see us on our birthdays so she wanted to make sure I was available." Jonah says, not looking up from his phone.

"Wait so why don't we call Randy, send him the song to see if he likes it enough, and then go out with Em tonight? That way we don't stress about absolutely getting plastered tonight." Daniel explains.

"We won't get that drunk." I scoff. "Just a teeny party." I hold my fingers up, showing a small amount.

"Name one thing you remember after the concert in Minnesota or Memphis or even for that matter, Quebec." He counters.

I blink, trying to remember. But everything after coming off the stage is an absolute blank. I just remember waking up in the tour bus shower fully clothed in Quebec, but that's it. "Okay, point proven. Who wants to call him first?" I ask, rubbing my hands together.

"I'll call him when you call Kir." Eben jokes as he hops out of his bunk. He sits down next to Corbyn, joining our circle.

"Hahaha." I sarcastically mock, "Very funny." I throw my now empty water bottle at him, which he dodges.

"She's in New York, you know? Em told me about it. Left home the day after dinner that night." Jonah says, putting down his phone to join the conversation.
