(Zach's POV)

As we walk up and reach the main street, I hear, "OH MY GOD, THAT'S ZACH HERRON." I was expecting it at some point but hoped for the best. I look over at Ira to see her glaring back with wide eyes. I simply just shrug back and try walking.

She asks, "What do we do?" in a whisper as though the New York City traffic horns don't mask our sounds enough.

"We can try and make a run for it," I half-joke, but if she wanted to, I wouldn't be mad about it.

"NO, those are your fans." she says, waving her hand to dismiss me.

I simply reply with, "Guess you're taking pictures then."

As I say that, 3 girls run up to me, they are all about 14 in matching why don't we tour hoodies. I love seeing fans in our merch, but the group sporting it is so adorable. One of them asks if I'm Zach Herron, and another asks if they could take a picture with me. Part of me wants to decline because I don't wish Kira thinks this is all I am, but another part knows I owe it to my fans. As one of the girls pulls out her phone to take a picture, I ask, "Do you not want to be in the picture?"

She replies quietly, "I do but you know, no one else can take it."

Kira says, "Here let me take it," before I can speak, grabbing the phone from the teenager. I hear the clicks of a camera, and then the girls scurry out from underneath my arms. They thank Kira and me and then run away, looking and laughing at each other.

I smile, watching them run but hear Kira next to me say, "Is this what it's like going on a date with Mr. Famous?" the sarcasm heavy in her voice. I look at her, "Pretty much." brushing off my shoulders to act like it's no big deal, but I finish by saying, "C'mon, let's go to this "perfect spot."

As I walk behind her, she abruptly stops.

"Here we are." she says, looking up at a sign that reads "Stranded Records."

"Where is here?" I ask. She replies, still looking at the sign

"The best recorder store in all of New York City," with a pleasant sigh. Kira then opens the door to the store, gesturing for me to walk in. As I do, I immediately smell old records as I look around to see boxes and the walls lined with them. "I know you like music for obvious reasons, and I wanted to get a new record so boom, the best place to go." She says, turning around to look at me.

"You didn't mention you wanted a new record?" I ask.

I didn't even know she liked records, but it's another thing to add to the "Facts about Kira" list I've created.

As she scans through records, she says, "Yes Zachary for two reasons, one you didn't ask and two it'd ruin the surprise." elongating Zachary.

"You listen to all of this?" I ask. I'm looking through all of these, and I can only grasp a few names that sound familiar.

"Yup. All my records I own are from this very store from Sault to Japan." she states, moving to another box intently looking.

"I'm gonna act like I know what those are." I smile at her. Every fact about her is more unique than the next. I wish I even knew what the band Japan was, much less if it was a band or not.
