Two Days Before The Graduation

Michela jumped onto the couch next to her twin. She looked at him,

"When is mom supposed to be back?"

Massimo shrugged,

"I think soon, do you think she is bringing over another 'friend'"

Michela chuckled and shrugged,

"Ah, who knows,"

Massimo laughed with Michela. They heard the door opening and looked up to see their mother running in with a suitcase. Michela smiled,

"Hey, mom!"

Trinity Kastle looked at her daughter and sighed sadly at her,

"Hello, Michela,"

Massimo and Michela shared a confused look at the tone of her voice. Trinity walked up to the two and sat down across from them,

"Michela, Massimo...I...I got called in again,"

Michela frowned in perfect sync with her twin,

"What do you mean?"

Trinity sighed at her,

"David is picking me up in five minutes to go to the airport for Hawaii, we have a job there,"

Massimo scoffed,

"How long is this 'job'?"

Trinity frowned at him,

"Don't use that sarcastic voice on me, Massimo. It's for seven wee-"

Michela immediately got up and glared at her,

"What about my graduation? What about me leaving for college? What about all the things we had planned?!"

Trinity got up and held out her arms,

"Honey, I'm so-"

Massimo got up and glared at their mother and wrapped an arm around his twin's shoulder,

"Don't you dare say sorry to her. You PROMISED that you will be at graduation. You broke that promise so go have fun with your buddies like always, we don't need you so screw off,"

Trinity glared at him,

"I am your mother don't you dare use that tone with me, young man,"

Michela laughed,

"What's a mother? I only know one and her name is Diana. She's a better mother than you any day, she wouldn't just ditch us for a lousy fuck,"

Trinity glared harder at her and shook her head,

"You can not talk to me like that,"

Michela stepped closer to her,

"Oh yeah? You don't know a thing about me! Or Mass!"

Trinity crossed her arms,

"Try me,"

Massimo pulled Michela closer to him, Michela nodded at him to make sure that they had each other's back and he returned the nod. Michela glared back at her mother,

"Who am I dating?"

Trinity's eyes widened in shock to hear that her daughter is dating someone. Massimo scoffed,

"Just go, leave us alone. We are better off without you anyway,"

Trinity glared at them,

"When I get back you two are in trouble,"

Michela smiled sweetly at her,

"Oh, I can't wait to see you in a few months, oh wait! I'll be in college when you get back!"

Trinity scoffed and left. Massimo looked at his twin and they hugged each other. Massimo rubbed her back soothingly,

"I'm sorry, I know you wanted her to be at graduation,"

Michela just sighed,

"It's okay I guess, I have you after all,"

Massimo smiled and nudged her,

"Come on, let's get outta here,"

Michela laughed and the two left after locking their life-less apartment.
