Nicholas, Ashley, Jake, Bryce, and Massimo entered the apartment, Nicholas being the only one who has been there. Nicholas looked at the group,

"Can I go first?"

They all immediately nodded. Nicholas walked up to the familiar room. He took a deep breath and knocked.

"Go away Mass,"

Nicholas slowly opened the door and smirked.

"Good thing I'm not Mass,"

He saw Michela lying down on her stomach on her bed. Michela abruptly looked up and at him. Nicholas felt his heart shatter once again when he saw the tear-streaked face of his best friend.

"Oh, Mickey,"

He plopped down at the end of her bed. Michela got over her shock.

"What...what are you doing here?"

Nicholas smiled sadly at her, feeling like he really is so done with people being heartbroken, first his younger brother, now his best friend.

"I'm not breaking my promise ever again Mickey...I will always be there for you, through thick and thin...best friends forever?"

He stuck out his pinky finger, it was their pact and whenever one of them is sad, they would do it again and it would always make the other smile. Michela smiled slightly and nodded. She linked her pinky finger with his.

"Best friends forever,"

Nicholas pulled her into a hug and Michela started crying again.

"Shhh...I got you Mickey...I'm sorry that this happened,"

Michela finally calmed down and looked up at him,

"I'm so sorry for getting pissed at you Nickey,"

Nicholas shrugged.

"Hey, every best friend duo have a fallout, I should have been more aware of your feelings...you never really had a serious relationship...you had your first kiss with that Garret dude and came crying to me about how yucky it was, *Cue slap on the arm*, Jake doesn't count at all, and you did kinda like Alec so I should have been more understanding...even if he did threaten to break your heart,"

Michela hugged him even more,

"And I probably should have listened to you when you guys told me...I knew you guys would never lie to me,"

Nicholas smiled.

"So am I the most amazing best friend or what?"

Michela laughed and shoved him,

"Bishhhh! I am,"

Nicholas laughed again.

"Come on, Jake and Bryce were crazy worried...along with my almost wife,"

Michela's eyes widened.

"Ash is here?!"

Nicholas rolled his eyes at the excitement in her voice, already used to their odd ways. Michela dragged him out and gasped when she saw the buffet of pancakes that the four made in the time that Nicholas and Michela were talking.

"OH MY GOD!!! PANCAKES!!!"

Everyone laughed while Michela rushed to the stack of pancakes. Jake frowned.

"Sure, don't say hi to your best friends,"

Michela laughed and pulled the gay couple in a hug.

"I'm sorry guys,"

"No, we are sorry,"

They got out of the hug and smiled at each other. Ashley jumped onto her best friend,

"MICKEY!!"

"ASH!"

They laughed as they hugged. Ashley looked at her and knew that her broken heart was fixed.

"Now, I know I am amazing for giving you this amazing gift of pancakes, so let's eat!"

Michela laughed and nodded. All six people sat down and ate pancakes while joking. Nicholas gave her the charm bracelet back, Michela smiled and hugged him,

"Thanks, Nickey,"

"Anytime Mickey,"

They broke apart after a few seconds. Nicholas knew it was time to go so that he could make sure that Justin didn't stay in his room for hours on end like he has been doing. Jesse has been staying at Brandon's house since his parents are home for the week. Ashley saw that Nicholas was thinking about going and smiled, knowing that Justin will feel better now that Michela and Alec are over. Nicholas got up.

"I gotta get going, talk to you later?"

Michela smiled and nodded,

"Definitely, bye Nickey,"

They hugged and soon everyone left after hugging her goodbye. Nicholas drove Ashley home and kissed her.

"I hope everything starts turning up good,"

Ashley looked at him,

"I'm sure it will soon, let me know how Justin is after you tell him,"

Nicholas nodded,

"I hope he feels better,"

Ashley nodded,

"Me too, heartbreak really sucks,"

Nicholas hugged her goodbye and drove home.
