Ashley and Michela finally made it to the ice cream parlor that was only a few minutes away. They ordered their food and sat down. Ashley looked at Michela expectantly. Michela sighed and nodded, telling her the story. Michela started off with the Brooklyn Bridge fiasco, as to which Ashley almost called Nicholas to kill him over the phone...Michela stopped her. She told her about waking up and thinking she lost Jesse, Ashley gave her a big hug because Michela almost started crying again, walking into the store and meeting Jake. Ashley seemed to like Jake immediately. Michela then proceeded to tell Ashley about her adventures with Jake and how close they got. Ashley herself seemed to fall in love with the friendship/relationship that was formed. Then Michela told Ashley about returning to Nicholas and meeting Justin, skipping over the fact that she has a giant crush on him, and telling Ashley that Jake told her that he would stay in town for a while....the end of the story. Ashley looked at Michela.
"When are you hanging out with Jake?"
Michela looked at her and shrugged.
"I don't know, maybe next week?"
Ashley rolled her eyes.
"No, maybe you can invite him over again today!"
Michela laughed at how excited Ashley was about that.
"Nahhh...Maybe tomorrow,"
Ashley rolled her eyes at the young 'clueless' girl that she really does love.
"Oh come onnnn...I want to meet this Jake guy! Make sure he's alright."
Michela laughed and they started eating ice cream. Ashley looked at Michela.
"So you have known Justin for a year and never knew he was the brother of your best friend?"
Michela rolled her eyes.
"Yeah yeah...I know it is crazy...but Nickey never mentioned his last name and I never asked."
Ashley shrugged.
"Alright, I'll give you some credit. So what dooo you think about him?
Michela thought about it a bit.
"He's really kind and dorky. He is a true idiot half of the time and has a memory of a frog sometimes. But he is a sweet dude."
Ashley smirked at the response, fully knowing that Michela likes him a bit more than normal.
"Aw, that is sweet that you like him."
Michela blushed and had no response. Ashley smiled hugely.
"Well, I can work with this!"
Michela laughed.
"What do you mean?"
Ashley smirked.
"Jake is the perfect guy to get Justin jealous."
Michela laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Oh my lord. He said the same exact thing."
Ashley laughed, fully knowing that she will like this guy.
