And I've been trying hard to fit in

From everyone I see?

         Nicholas immediately called Ashley:

"Hey, Ash!"

"Hey, Nick, what's up? To what do I owe the pleasure of you calling me tonight?"

        Nicholas laughed

"I wanted to invite you over for dinner! I was also wondering if you could invite Mickey?"

        Nicholas heard Ashley sigh and he frowned.

"I'm not entirely sure if she can, I will try just for you though. Who else is gonna be at the dinner?"

        Nicholas smiled.

"Well, Jesse and Brandon are finally going to hang out at Brandon's place so it shall be, me, you, Justin, Kenzee, and Michela."

        Nicholas heard a cough.

"Kenzee?"

        Nicholas frowned.

"Yeah, why?"

"No reason, hey, can Mickey invite Jake? That might maybe convince her to go,"

        Nicholas smiled hugely.

"Of course!"

        Nicholas heard Ashley's laugh and smiled even more.

"Okay, I gotta go, but see you later!"

"Wait! Is it formal or informal?"

        Nicholas did not think about that.

"Whatever you want to wear, probably more formal looking,"

"Okay, love you, see you later!"

"See you later!"

        Nicholas hung up and smiled. Hoping that his best friend will come.

        "Hey, Justin! Did you text Kenzee yet?"

        Justin popped his head out of his room.

        "Yes, she said that she can come over,"

        Nicholas smiled.

        "What are you wearing?"

        Justin looked at Nicholas in confusion,

        "I have to wear something nice?"

        Nicholas facepalmed and shook his head at his oblivious brother.

        "Yes, yes you do,"

        Justin sighed.

        "I guess I'll wear a nice red shirt and slacks,"

        Nicholas nodded.

        "Okay, that works."

        "What are you wearing Nick?"

        Nicholas smiled.

        "A blue button-up shirt, and black slacks,"

        Justin nodded. Ashley knew this would be a bad idea, inviting Michela to the dinner, especially if Kenzee is coming as Justin's date. Ashley pulled out her phone and looked for her contact: Baeeeeee!

"Hey, Ash, what's up?"

"Okay, so before you say no...just hear me out,"

"Oh no,"

"Oh shut up, are you listening?"

"Yeah,"

"Okay. So Nick wants to have dinner. So he invited me and he asked if I could invite you-"

"Oh, Ash...you know why-"

"Yes, yes I do...but you can bring Jake!"

        Ashley heard Michela sigh

"I don't know Ash..."

"Pleaseeee? Nick is very worried about you Mickey, if it all goes to hell, you have Jake and I that know about Kenzee,

"Ugh...I hate you sometimes,"

        Ashley smiled hugely,

"Thank you!!"

        Ashley could practically hear Michela rolling her eyes.

"Whatever, what am I supposed to wear?"

"Well, seeing as Justin will be there, something cute!"

"Ash!!"

"Hey! I'm being honest!"

        Michela laughed and so did Ashley.

"Okay, well I gotta text Jake that he is being imprisoned for dinner tonight...I think he and Bryce were gonna have dinner together,"

        Ashley smiled.

"They can skip ONE day of dinner time,"

"Yeah, well they have some stuff to explain to me,"

"Like what?"

"I saw a certain mark on Jake's neck hidden very well yesterday."

"OOOOH!"

        Michela and Ashley laughed, both happy for their resident gay couple.

"Anyway, catch ya later!"

"Most definitely, remember to knock! Because you don't have your keys,"

"How did..."

"Nicholas told me the day that you came in here crying about Kenzee,"

"Oh."

"It's alright Mickey, just please don't hold anything back from me...I care about you,"

"I know, I promise."

"Great...see you later!"

"See ya!"

        Ashley hung up, very proud of herself for getting Michela to agree as long as she brought Jake. Ashley texted Nicholas telling him that she succeeded. She immediately got a very happy response back.
