        Bryce was crazy nervous. He had a plan...only Michela knew because come on, if he didn't mention anything to her, she would have his head on a silver platter. In fact, Michela helped him plan some of this. Bryce told Jake that he was taking him out on a date in Central Park and to look nice. Bryce had a silver polo shirt on with black shorts. He looked at the time and rolled his eyes,

"Jake! Hurry up!"

Jake rolled his eyes and put a shirt on,

"Shut up! I'm almost done!"

Bryce felt his heart skip a beat when Jake came out wearing a green dress shirt with black shorts. Jake smiled,

"Like what you see?"

Bryce rolled his eyes,

"Shut up,"

Jake laughed. Bryce held out his hand and Jake immediately took it and was dragged to the car. Bryce drove to central park and got out with Jake. They held hands as they walked around. Jake looked at Bryce,

"Is something bothering you?"

Bryce blushed slightly and shook his head,

"No, we are almost to the picnic though,"

Jake smiled brightly and the two raced to the blanket. Jake smiled as he recognized where they were,

"Yooo! This is where I got your number after pretending to kiss Ella,"

Bryce laughed and sat down,

"Yeah, I will never forget about that,"

Jake chuckled,

"Momentous occasion, I don't think many can say they went through the things we have,"

Bryce chuckled and nodded,

"Yeah, now let's eat,"

The two ate and laughed together. They didn't go on many formal dates because they lived together, so this was nice. Bryce looked up at Jake and went through the things one more time before smiling, feeling ready.

"Jake,"

Jake looked up at him in confusion,

"Yeah?"

Bryce smiled,

"We both have some crazy pasts. It's crazy to think we have only been dating for 6 months. You are my everything, you are my home. Home is with people, it's not a place. I love you more than anything else or anyone. You understand me better than anyone in my family, better than anyone I have ever met. The day I met you what feels like years ago, I felt a connection with you. That connection only grew as time went by. I know we promised to take it slow since we never really dated anyone seriously, heck! You were my first boyfriend ever, first kiss, first dick, first everything. I wouldn't change that for the world. When I found out that you were from Maryland, I was worried that you would leave and go back. Then I found out that you were staying for a while. I realized that I not only want you to be my first, but my last. My last kiss, my last goodbye. I wanted to ask you something very important..."

Jake started tearing up as Bryce knelt down,

"Jake Campbell, will you marry me?"

Bryce pulled out a ring pop. Jake laughed and immediately nodded,

"YES!"

Bryce laughed as he slid the ring pop on his finger. Jake immediately hugged Bryce and kissed him passionately. Bryce smiled into the kiss. Jake pulled away,

"I love you too Bryce,"

Bryce smiled. Jake licked his ring pop,

"Damn...good flavor too,"

Bryce laughed and nodded,

"Yeah, M picked it out for me,"

Jake laughed and nodded,

"I'm guessing she freaked out a lot?"

Bryce laughed loudly,

"You should have seen her when I told her I wanted to propose, she went motor mouth on me five times,"

Jake laughed and nodded,

"Sounds about right,"

Bryce chuckled and nodded,

"Yuppp,"

Jake smirked,

"We should prank them,"

Bryce smirked,

"I'm all ears for a good prank,"

Jake smirked and nodded,

"Let's pretend that I broke up with you and left,"

Bryce laughed and nodded,

"Bet. M would die,"

Jake smirked,

"She deserves it after all the stress she been giving us and all the worry we been through,"

Bryce chuckled and shrugged,

"Alright, we ready?"

Jake smiled and nodded,

"Yeah, let's just get home and get everything set up and then you call Ella,"

Bryce nodded,

"Sounds perfect,"

Jake smirked,

"Now, Mister, will you do the honor and pulling our first prank as an engaged couple,"

Bryce chuckled and locked arms with him,

"The honor would be mine,"

They laughed and left.
