Michela woke up on the sand. She gasped. She immediately got up and looked around.
"JESSE!"
She looked around wildly.
"JESSE! WHERE ARE YOU!"
She looked down.
"No."
She collapsed to her knees and had her head in her hands.
"I failed...I'm so sorry Jess."
She got up. She looked at the sky in fury.
"How could you take away Jesse?!"
She shook her head as tears started coming to her eyes.
"I thought you had my back."
She remembers telling Jesse to hold on...to hold his breath...then she remembers hearing a voice telling her that it wasn't her time to go. She knows that she has to tell Nick and Brandy about Jesse. She can't go home without her purse. So she starts her journey.
