Congrats on Passing the Test!

It started with a whisper
And that was when I kissed her
And then she made my lips hurt
I could hear the chit chat
Take me to your love shack
Mamas always gotta back track
When everybody talks back

         The small group was shocked, to say the least, that Jake and Nicholas entered the room and Jake was still breathing. Ashley smirked.

        "Wow, Jake passed the best friend test,"

        Nicholas laughed.

        "Yeah, he did,"

        Ashley shuddered.

        "I remember when I got the test, it was scarring,"

        Michela smirked innocently.

        "Well of course it was, I had to make sure that you would survive dealing with Nickey,"

        Nicholas gapped at his best friend.

        "And here I am, just after complimenting you. Hearing you say that being with me is hard,"

        Everyone laughed. Ashley kissed Nicholas' cheek,

        "But it is worth it,"

        Michela gagged

        "Oh ew,"

        Everyone laughed again. Kenzee smiled.

        "Hey, I should get going before my mom calls,"

        Everyone nodded. Justin smiled.

        "I'll take you home,"

        Kenzee smiled widely,

        "Okay, bye guys!"

        After the bye, Justin and Kenzee left. Michela and Jake looked at the time and saw that it was around 10.

        "We should get going. Massimo did threaten me to not keep her too late."

        Ashley and Nicholas laughed, fully knowing that Massimo was protective with Michela every now and then. Michela and Jake walked out of the house and walked after calling Bryce. Michela looked at Jake.

        "Why did you do that?"

        Jake smiled,

        "You are my soul-sister Ella, I love you and I will help you with anything. Plus, Kenzee looked shocked when i did it,"

        Michela laughed and rolled her eyes.

        "I love you too Jake, I'm sorry we kissed in front of Bryce,"

        Jake smiled and shrugged.

        "It's fine. I think it made me realize something,"

        Michela looked at him in confusion. Jake smiled softly.

        "I think I love him,"

        Michela's eyes widened, Jake looked off into the distance.

        "I felt bad when I kissed you in front of Bryce because it felt wrong, not just because he's my boyfriend...also it was gross kissing you no offense, but I felt like I couldn't bear to think of hurting him. I think that's love right? When it hurts you to hurt them. I feel so happy when I'm with him, like true bliss."

        Michela smiled kindly, feeling happy for her best friend like she did for Nicholas when he told her about Ashley.

        "That is bliss, I don't know anything about love...I only know what Ash and Nickey told me. But it's when you constantly think about the person if they are hurting you are too and you feel useless that you can't help them. You share laughs and inside jokes, you just feel so happy and lucky to have them."

        Jake nodded and smiled.

        "Ella, I think he's the one for me."

        Michela smiled even brighter.

        "I'm happy for you Jack, I'm happy you found each other."

        Jake smiled and nodded. He turned to Michela.

        "How is this going to work? With what we are doing,"

        Michela sighed.

        "I don't know, that's why I was against doing it,"

        Jake smiled.

        "Yeah I know, you should have seen Justin's face though,"

        Michela shoved him and laughed. Bryce came to pick them up but it was not awkward at all. Bryce smirked the second they entered the car.

        "Jake, I am so jealous that you got to kiss M! I wanted to do that first."

        They all burst into laughter at the joke. The rest of the ride was full of jokes and laughter at the three best friends. Michela got out of the car at her spot.

        "Thank you guys for everything, have a nice night."

        Jake and Bryce nodded. Michela left and Bryce drove back to their apartment.
