Long before we both thought the same thing
To be loved and to be in love
And all I can do is say that these arms
Are made for holding you, oh-oh-oh
And I wanna love like you made me feel
When we were 18Ashley and Nicholas both challenged Justin and Michela to a match today. The four wanted to do mixed doubles, couple vs. couple. Michela knew it was because they were stubborn and wanted to know who could play tennis better, the married couple, or the dating couple. Ashley and Nicholas won the toss so they were first to serve. The game progressed slowly. Michela and Justin immediately were naturals at communicating with each other since they have played together so many times. Ashley and Nicholas had a few points where they would either both go for it or no one would go for it in the middle. You could almost see the sweat by the time it was, once again, six all. Michela was first to serve, then Nicholas, then Justin, and then finally Ashley. Justin slammed the ball to the corner and Nicholas just got there while Ashley switched sides, he tried lobbing it over Michela's head but she did a powerful overhead. Now it was win by two. Michela and Justin high fived. It was Ashley's serve....so no pressure. Oh, and the loser had to buy the winner dinner later that day. Ashley slammed it to Michela's backhand and she managed to do a slight slice backhand to her. Ashley got it back but sent it directly to Justin. Justin poached it to the middle. Somehow, Ashley managed to skid to a stop and hit a nice topspin backhand to Michela. Michela sliced the ball to Nicholas' backhand volley. Nicholas hit a winner in between Michela and Justin. Justin smiled and nodded at Michela. They high-fived and Michela smiled. Justin knew she was wishing him luck. Ashley did a kick serve to his backhand and he immediately jumped up and hit a backhand back at her. Ashley decided to do a different approach and gave him a short ball. Justin immediately saw it coming and moved forward fast. He hit it over down the line in the alley and Ashley just got it after Nicholas switched. Justin stayed at the net with Michela, Then Ashley hit a huge lob over his head and he immediately switched and Michela ran back and diagonally to get to the ball. She managed to hit it right at Nicholas and he blocked the ball from hitting his face and angled it off the court. Michela immediately ran for it and decided to just leap for the ball. She managed to hit the ball softly over the net before rolling, Justin shuffled to the middle, seeing that Michela was off the court. Nicholas ran for the ball and sliced it at Justin. Justin just narrowly missed it and dodged getting hit in the face. Nicholas and Ashley are the winners!!! Ashley immediately ran to Nicholas and tackled him in a hug,
"WE DID IT!"
Nicholas laughed and spun her around,
"Yes, we did!"
Justin chuckled and walked over to Michela, who was busy laying on her back on the court,
"Great playing,"
Michela looked at him and smiled brightly,
"You too! That was fun,"
Justin smiled and stuck out his arm for her to grab. Michela grabbed his arm and he helped her up. Michela nudged him,
"So, we splitting it fifty-fifty?"
Justin laughed,
"Sure, just bring your card and I'll bring mine,"
Michela smiled brightly and nodded,
"Bet,"
The two walked over to Nicholas and Ashley and smiled,
"Good game,"
They all shook hands and smiled. Michela smirked,
"Whelp, I'm gonna take a nice shower...you three should do the same. However! Ash and Nickey, you shouldn't share the shower together this one-time cuz you both stink,"
Nicholas and Ashley blushed and rolled their eyes at her while Justin laughed. Ashley shoved her,
"Just go. We will see you at the diner!"
Michela nodded. Ashley smirked,
"Wear something casual,"
The boys did not see the subtle wink Ashley gave Michela and the small smirk that appeared on Michela's mouth.
