Dear Annalee,

Words may not describe my hatred for you.

I hate your stupid hair and your stupid smile and your stupid face.

Please choke,

Sirius

Dear Sirius,

My friends are all telling me I have a crush on you. (Please heed my words when I say that I don't but I do think that it's of note.) In order to assure you that I don't (as I know that they are bound to meddle), I will be listing the things that I hate about you:

Your laugh/smile

Your friends

Your pranks

Your family

Your hair

Your body

Yo̶u̶r̶ c̶h̶e̶e̶k̶b̶o̶n̶e̶s̶

In your words: Please choke and die in a hole. (I added my own little spin, of course. You are stupid.)

Absolutely no love at all,

Annalee

Sirius,

Me too. Goddammit. Meet me at the quidditch pitch tomorrow at 11 pm.

Annalee

October 30th.

"It's been a month, Sirius!" Anna says in distress.

Sirius gives her a look. "It's been two weeks, don't be dramatic."

"I can't help it! It's a proven fact that time passes slower without your best friend talking to you," she protests.

"She's right," Marlene says as she sits down across from them at the Gryffindor table. "Lily's been spending waaay too much time with that complete and utter arse Mclaggen. She's not mad at Alice, Dorcas, or me but she never spends time with us. She gets in late and leaves early. Then doesn't talk to us the entire day."

Anna gestures towards the blonde, "See?"

"Why don't you guys just talk to her?" Sirius asks obliviously.

"Right. And risk being ostracized like dear ol' Annie over here?" Marlene says indignantly.

In the past two weeks, Marlene had taken to calling Annalee 'Annie'.

"Thanks," Anna mutters. Louder, she adds, "And she just won't talk to me. Even if she did, she won't see reason."

"Girls," Sirius scoffs. "Anyways, I've got to go. James saw them kissing and is moping in the dorm room again."

Sirius leaves.

Marlene sighs.

"Feel like skipping history of magic?" Marlene proposes.

Annalee smirks. "I'm offended you had to ask, Marls."

The two girls make their way down the stairs and onto the quidditch pitch.
