Dear Annalee,

Words may not describe my hatred for you.

I hate your stupid hair and your stupid smile and your stupid face.

Please choke,

Sirius

Dear Sirius,

My friends are all telling me I have a crush on you. (Please heed my words when I say that I don't but I do think that it's of note.) In order to assure you that I don't (as I know that they are bound to meddle), I will be listing the things that I hate about you:

Your laugh/smile

Your friends

Your pranks

Your family

Your hair

Your body

Yo̶u̶r̶ c̶h̶e̶e̶k̶b̶o̶n̶e̶s̶

In your words: Please choke and die in a hole. (I added my own little spin, of course. You are stupid.)

Absolutely no love at all,

Annalee

October 7th.

About a month into her fourth year, Anna's first visit to Hogsmeade of said year occurs. The month had been spent with Lily, Marlene, Alice, and Dorcas during the day and glaring at James, Sirius, and Lily at night. Then, of course, speaking with Bellatrix before she falls asleep. And you can't forget denying her ever-growing feelings for the one and only: Sirius Black.

The morning of the trip, Anna receives a letter. Not a howler, but a letter.

Dear Anna,

Your mother and I are visiting you in Hogsmeade. We will meet you in The Three Broomsticks. We have amazing news to share with you that we are confident you will be delighted by. If you're not, I know you will be gracious for this opportunity anyways. We won't tolerate defiance.

"Great," Anna mutters, "That's just great."

Lily peers over her shoulder and then speculates, "I wonder what they want."

"Probably to give me something about the Dark Arts," Anna scoffs.

"Well I know you'll do what's right," Lily says confidently.

Anna groans, "That's not the problem, Lils. I just want to spend the day in Hogsmeade with you, Alice, Dorcas, and Marls without worrying about the stupid Dark stupid Arts. Want to know why? Because the stupid Dark stupid Arts are stupid!"

Lily chuckles, "We have another trip next weekend. And maybe we'll skip on Potter and Black tomorrow and go alone."

"Promise?" Anna says eagerly.

Lily rolls her eyes, "I promise. Do you promise you'll be safe?"

"Always, Lily," Anna says with a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes.

But Lily knows better than to argue. "You'd better wear something nice. Maybe Black will think you're going on a date and finally as you out!"

Anna, not unlike Lily, knows better than to argue. She puts on an black knit sweater and pulls on a plaid green, black, and white skirt.
