July 30th, 1980.

As the wedding march plays, Annalee Fawley walks down the aisle with the assistance of Albus Dumbledore.

James Potter stands to Sirius Black's left who is on the left of Frank Longbottom, the officiant. James is Sirius's Best Man. To James's left is Remus Lupin. Peter Pettigrew volunteered to be in the audience.

To Frank's right stands only Lily Potter, a fiery redhead who is nine months pregnant.

There are no bridesmaids. Annalee doesn't have enough friends left alive anymore.

Minerva McGonagall, Albus Dumbledore, Arthur and Charlie Weasley, Andromeda Tonks, Nymphadora Tonks (the flower girl), Ted Tonks, Alice Longbottom with her newborn named Neville Longbottom, and Peter Pettigrew sit in the pews of the church.

It's completely silent.

"We stand here today to celebrate the holy matrimony of Sirius Orion Black the second and Annalee Harriet Fawley. Before I start, they wanted us all to take a moment of silence in honor of everyone we lost: Aubrey, Morenthius, Jeremy, and Ginny Fawley, Johnathan Clyde, Dorothy Hawkins, Ginger Sullivan, Regulus Black, Draco Fawley-Black, and Marlene and Dorcas Meadowes. We miss you all," Frank says somberly. After a minute of silence, he continues with the service. About twenty minutes later, he says, "You may now read your vows."

Annalee begins, tears in her bright eyes. "Sirius. My love. We're finally here, getting married. I love you so much. I love you like I love the stars and that love is abounding and incomprehensible. But I'm so lucky that you chose me that day way back in fourth year and I'm beyond lucky that you chose me over and over and over again every single day after that. I love you, Padfoot."

"I love you, too," Sirius mouths back. At normal tempo, he vows, "I love you, Fawley. I've loved you since we were eight years old and I proposed with my mother's stolen ring. I loved you from afar since you all but told me to screw off in first year. I loved you up close when we went on our first not-date. I knew I loved you when you were so determined to go with us sneaking off campus. Which, professors, we totally never did. But then I loved you and lost you because of a secret. And yet, I chose you again. And I'm lucky you chose to love me back."

"Do you, Sirius Orion Black, take Annalee Harriet Fawley to have and to hold in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, for better or for worse, until death do you part?"

"I do."

"And do you, Annalee Harriet Fawley, take Sirius Orion Black to have and to hold in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, for better or for worse, until death do you part?"

"I do."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," Frank says. "You may kiss the bride."

Andromeda covers Dora's eyes at the passionate kiss.

During the reception, Lily Potter's water breaks.

July 31st.

"Sirius Black? Annalee Fawley-Black?" a healer calls into the waiting room. Sirius and Anna spring up. "Lily and James are requesting you."

They follow the healer into Lily and James's hospital room.

There, in their arms, is little baby Harry Potter. The boy bound to change the world. The Boy Who Survived.

But for now, he's just an infant.

"Oh, my Godric, he's adorable," Anna coos, crouching down next to him.

"You all already know the name, of course," James says. "But we also wanted to ask the two of you to be little Harry's godparents."

Without any hesitation, Sirius and Anna blurt, "Of course we will."

"Good," James grins.

Lily looks like she's about to fall asleep.

Anna smiles down at Harry, "This is the best birthday present you ever could've given me, Lils."

Lily's eyes spring open, "The best what present?"

"Oh, Godric," Anna breathes while Sirius laughs and talks to James.

"It's your birthday?!" Lily says, her eyes widening. "Happy birthday, Lee! Oh, my! I can't believe it! I know your birthday. Happy birthday, Lee!"

Anna facepalms and says to Harry, "Is your mummy crazy? Yes. Yes, she is. Yes!"

"I'm going to buy you ten presents today!" Lily announces. "To make up for all the missed years, of course. Oh, lord. This is amazing!"

"Remus will be mad," Anna reasons. "We don't want to crowd the house."

Lily's in her own world. "I'm thinking a necklace, maybe some new muggle movies, Disneyworld tickets..."

Later, James introduces Remus, Alice, Frank, Dumbledore, McGonagall and Peter to the baby.

"Everyone, this is Harry James Potter. In case you don't know, Harry is for Harriet, Anna's middle name," James explains softly. "Harry, these are your Uncles Moony, Wormy, and Frank, your Aunt Vic, and your future surrogate grandparents, Dumbles and Minnie. Welcome to the family, love."

August 7th.

"Harry, these are your Aunts Sterny, Zelle, and Appel," Lily explains softly at the graveyard, Alice and Anna by her sides.

October 31st.

"Happy anniversary, Sirius."

"Happy anniversary, Princess."

December 1st.

Annalee, Sirius, Remus, Peter, Lily, James, Harry, Alice, Frank, and Neville go into hiding at the height of the War.

Annalee and Sirius are dubbed the Potters' secret keepers and Sirius gives that responsibility to Peter after a couple months as a result of growing increasingly worried of people suspecting him being the keeper. He only tells Annalee.

They all pass around Christmas gifts in advance to be opened on the 25th.

The next picture they take is the last one of them all together.

December 25th.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!" Anna screams at the top of her lungs.

Remus and Sirius stumble down the stairs, glaring at her. Their eyes light up at the presents.

And there, in the living room of their little cottage, is their little family.

Too bad it'll all fall apart.

February 28th.

"It's him!" Sirius roars as he points at Remus. "He's the spy! He has to be."

"Of course he's not, Sirius," Anna says softly, trying to calm him down. It doesn't work.

"You don't know anything, Fawley," Sirius spits back with venom.

She waves her hand at him and his legs walk him over to sit on the couch, making him glare at her.

"Shush before you say something stupid," Anna commands. "Remus, please explain to Sirius why you were out and this will all be over and we can move on."

"Are you kidding, Annie?" Remus sneers. "He's the spy, goddammit. How do you think he saw that I was gone? He was in Diagon Alley, too. I'm leaving."

"No, Remus, please," Anna runs after him, grabbing at his shirt.

But it's too late.

He's gone.

A lone owl hoots outside as crows gather around, a signal of what's to come.

A/N Y'all know what's next.
