April 2nd.

They have a funeral for the unborn (but, really, born) baby Draco.

Sirius and Anna hold each other close.

"I feel like I failed," Anna cries.

Sirius shakes his head and says evenly, "This isn't your fault. I'm going to kill Mulciber."

"I'm going with you," Anna replies in a voice of true spite.

May 3rd.

The night that Mulciber and Avery approach an unsuspecting muggle couple in Franklin, Tennessee, there isn't a cloud in the sky.

Of course, this couple isn't unsuspecting nor are they muggles. Instead, it's Annalee and Sirius.

They capture the two Death Eaters and Annalee only barely holds Sirius back from killing them.

"You killed him, you bastards," Sirius yells as Anna holds his hand back. Mulciber and Avery's wands are both snapped and their hands are bound. "Let me go, Anna, please."

"No," she whispers. "They'll face justice. But so will you. I can't be alone, Sirius, please."

He stands down at her pleas and Mulciber and Avery are delivered to Azkaban before 8 a.m. the next morning.

June 20th.

James Potter had come over the morning of April 20th to go ring shopping with Sirius. While Sirius is unsure of when he will propose, he wants to have the ring. He'd returned the old one, but wants to find one like it.

But that morning, Sirius wakes up early and James comes over to find Annalee dancing, singing, and laughing with Sirius; something that hasn't happened in months.

James just starts smiling like an idiot, glad to see his brother and sister happy again.

"You two really have a Queen addiction, don't you?" James muses when Killer Queen ends.

Anna doesn't stop smiling, holding onto Sirius's hand in a way that seems more out of young love than need for comfort.

Sirius kisses said hand and retorts, "You don't, Prongs? It's not our fault that we're cooler than you."

"See you tonight, right, Anna?" James says, pointedly ignoring Sirius.

"Actually, me and the girls were thinking of doing a girls' night. Maybe going to visit Ginger," Anna says, and for the first time since her death, she says Ginger's name with a fond smile instead of accompanied by tears.

James nods. "We might as well get the Marauders back together, ay, Sirius, mate?"

Sirius smiles, too. "Let's do it. Maybe we'll invite them all out to lunch, make a day out of it?"

"I'll see you later," Anna hums and reaches for her wand. "See you, James. Love you both."

She apparates away, leaving them alone.

"She's happy again," James observes.

Sirius nods, staring at the spot where she just was. "She is."

"It's a good look for all of us. Where's Moony?"

"Still asleep. Should we go wake him up?"

Remus stumbles in, glaring at them both. "You're all bloody loud."

September 1st.

"Congratulations, Ms. Fawley," Alastor Moody says to Annalee. "You're officially an auror."
