February 3rd.
"I did it, Andy, I know how to find him," Annalee beams. "I'm going to find Jeremy."
Andy smiles back, "I knew you could. Oh, Lily and Marlene are going to be ecstatic. James and Peter have been so worried. Sirius was out of his mind, you could just tell. And Remus has been more anxious than ever. We've all just been saying that you're sick. I don't think Dumbledore believes that, though."
"I did it," Annalee repeats. Then, she frowns. "Wait- how long was I asleep?"
"About five days," Andy answers gravely. "It's been pretty stressful. Lily wrangled Snape into making a nourishing draught so you've been hydrated and food-ated."
"Wow," Anna breathes. "Thank you for all of your help."
"Of course. You're basically my sister," the eldest Black reassures her. "Anyways, what'd you find out?"
"Everything," Anna smiles. "It was incredible. I know so much more about me, why I am this way. More importantly, I know how to find my brother. He left me a clue. To find his best friend, who was apparently basically my brother, too. And now I know why my parents erased my memory."
Andromeda grins, "You did it, Lee! You bloody did it."
"I bloody did it," Anna agrees. "I can't believe I ever forgot."
"In your defense," Andy points out, "you didn't forget. The memories were forcibly removed from your mind. We should go find Lily now, yeah?"
"Yeah," Annalee agrees, hopping out of her bed.
The two girls run out of her dorm and into the Gryffindor common room where, thankfully, only Lily and Marlene are sitting.
"Lily! Marlene!" Annalee exclaims excitedly. "I'm back!"
The two rush over to hug her. Andromeda says her goodbyes and slips away.
"Did you find him?" Marlene asks.
"We missed you!" Lily exclaims.
"I did find him. Well... kind of. I know how to find him, and that's the big fish. Did you do anything when I was out?" Anna asks chipperly.
FLASHBACK - JANUARY 31st.
"You've got be joking!" a pretty Gryffindor named Isabella Benson exclaims.
"Do I ever joke?" Filch challenges. "You and Mr. Black have detention for the next three days for inappropriate conduct."
"So not happening," Sirius sneers. "It was just a little kiss. Or ten. Plus, it's not my fault Evans is a goody-two-shoes."
"Hey!" Lily exclaims indignantly. "It's not my fault that this is the fifth time I've caught the two of you since Lee's been sick!"
"Exactly," Marlene adds. "It's completely unfair. And insensitive. I've had my fair share of breakups, and you always observe a two-week mourning period."
"I've moved on, Marlene. I would've thought you'd be happy for me. You were my friend once, weren't you?" Sirius challenges.
The brunette, Isabella, grabs his hand. "It's meant to be. We've found our true partners. We've found each other."
Marlene smothers her laugh with a cough as Sirius shifts uncomfortably.
"If you've found your true partners, then I'm sure you'll be happy for me to make your detentions longer," Filch sneers.
"But, Filch-y!" Sirius whines.
Marlene and Lily high-five.
"That's what you deserve, Sirius," Marlene glares. "It's like you never even cared for her at all."
