Characters; part two

IMPORTANT NOTE, PLEASE READ (7/20/22): hey y'all, so i'm currently planning out a oneshot for the very end of the book. who is your favorite character combinations and are there any headcanons you want to see?

Annalee Fawley is learning to love. Before she went to Hogwarts, she never knew any feeling except all-encompassing cold. But then it all changes when she meets Sirius Black once again, and when her family is killed by Tom Riddle, or Voldemort.

Sirius' knees crack as he lies down next to Annalee.

She giggles and looks over to him. "That was a really disgusting sound."

He gives her a lopsided grin, "You don't speak to me in six months and the first thing you say is 'That was a really disgusting sound'? I'm not sure what to feel right now."

Turning onto her back once more, she reaches her arm straight up with her eyes grooming over her hands as she flexes her fingers. She runs her thumb over her long, slender digits, and her hand blocks out the pale moonlight.

"I'm not sure either," she says softly, withdrawing her hand and tucking it beneath her chin.

Sirius' eyes track her every movement, his eyes analyzing her seemingly-invulnerable body.

"But I am sure about one thing. I miss you, Princess. I miss us," he whispers, eyes staring at hers while hers stare at the stars.

Or in which Annalee Fawley, The Ice Queen of Slytherin, is drowning and finds herself missing the people who matter most, including her old self.

Therefore, I lack the insight to see why exactly I should - as you say - let someone else do the work. We're just specks of dust floating on the surface of infinity, after all."
