Deaths and Shots

I was in the middle of the Triangle and it was silent.
I looked around. The only thing around me were trees.
I took one final spin and suddenly noticed Carl's dead body on the ground.
"No," I screamed.
I glanced at the corpses of Walkers that surrounded Carl's body.
I rounded on Glenn and Daryl.
"This is all your fault. He's dead because of you." I spat.
I turned to Glenn,"Mostly you. You encouraged all of this. I told you that we were better off together. If we had been together, this wouldn't have happened."
I punched Glenn in the face and then proceeded to pound on him.
"It's all your fucking fault,"I screamed as he fell and I continued to hit him.
Daryl grabbed me from behind and lifted me off of Glenn.
I turned and glared at him,"He was supposed to be with you. You were supposed to protect him."
He bound my hands together with his own,"Hurting me isn't going to bring Carl back."
I fought and fidgeted against him until he let me go. I ran over to Carl's dead body and realized that I didn't have much time before Carl would be gone and there would be another thing inside of his body.
I took the brunette boy's head and placed it in my lap.
As I stroked his hair, I sobbed and said,"Where to begin? When I first met you, you were the biggest Jack Ass ever. Later, you showed me the real you. The one that gave up his own life to save the ones that you love. The one who only expressed emotion when he knew that someone was hurt, but always showed me love. You showed me what love is. You let me experience what it was meant to love and be loved. Carl Grimes, I love you. I've never said it before, but I do. I love you and I know that you love me. DON'T LEAVE ME!"
He started to stir.
"Jocelyn, move away." Daryl said as he cocked his gun.
Glenn looked at him,"She has to do it herself or she's never going to give up the relationship. That's how I felt with Maggie. There's just something about letting someone go yourself instead of them being taken from of by force."
The thing started to stir in my lap. It jerked violently.
It stilled for just a moment. During that small moment, I placed a small kiss in his forehead and whispered how much I loved him one more time.
I backed away from he creature as it started to get up and moan.
"Do it."Daryl said with a choke in his voice.
I backed away quickly, tripping over my own feet as I rubbed tears from my eyes.
I cocked my gun and aimed it at the fallen friend that actually turned monster.
"I love you,"I whispered as I placed my finger on the trigger.
Bang!
He fell.
